The reason he's quitting is that he got hacked and lost full rune and black H4 sheild. If I get it back for him it will be like he never lost anything.

If his best mate commited suicide he wouldn't exactly carry on playing. Thanks for the advice on the BS, I am spending all my time at the gnome stronghold, as its the best place to make BS. Any other ideas?

My real life friend recently got hacked and lost full rune and a black H sheild (H4 I belive) and he has decided to quit once his membership runs out. I am already trying to get him his full rune back, via crafting and selling bow strings, but I was wondering if anyone had any good ideas. I am only level 40 so dont start saying 'Go and slay a few dust devils and take a few Barrow trips and give him what you get' please. Any ideas to stop him quitting? BTW, he's level 55.

Same thing happened to me, I lost 1k (I was a noob so i was like 'NOOOOOOOOO') while I was in the dwarven mines near the scorpions.
