  1. You can get Fable 2 for free by the way. Xbox support and Major Nelson say it's the Episode 1 version but it's not. You can get achievements and get past Episode 1. http://marketplace.xbox.com/en-US/games/media/66acd000-77fe-1000-9115-d8024d5307f1/?p=1&of=6&bt=0&sb=1&did=00000001-0000-4000-8000-00004d5307f1 It doesn't seem to work for some peoplel, though.
  2. Well, it's kinda 2:30 AM. ;-)
  3. Mongeese. Mongeeses seems kinda double plural.
  4. Whatever floats your boat. :/
  5. Nearly 3 days playing campaign. Over 6,000 killionaires. All for some credits. :shame:
  6. I think the DMR kills in 4 shots in Slayer Pro too. Not quite sure about it, though. Can't wait till MLG gets their own playlist again. Just love the arena maps they make.
  7. Too bad the game itself looks ten time worse. :S
  8. If I recall correctly the BR required 5 shots to kill someone. The DMR is 4 body shots and a headshot for the kill. Map pack is looking good. Price may be a little high but it's been like that since Halo 3 so it doesn't really surprise me. The maps look gorgeous.
  9. It kills in as many shots as the BR did actually.
  10. Here:
  11. The DMR is so much more satisfying when making headhosts. The BR just felt more consistent because it had no bloom.

    Your loss I guess.
  13. Play Chiron-TL 34. No idea if that's the name. :P
  14. Did I miss something? I think he may be talking about [hide]the engineer. Could be wrong though. Since I mean, When could Johnson come back to interrogate it if he was on Delta Halo? Granted it could have been before he woke the chief up... but how did he even get back to earth...? I'm so confused <_< I think I'm missing something.[/hide] [hide] You don't even get to hear what use the Engineer is exactly. Just that it'll 'help humanity a lot' or something like that. Reach has pretty much the same problem. You reunite a part of Cortana with valuable Forerunner information with the rest of Cortana. The problem is, you never actually know what use that part of Cortana had. Nothing specific at least. It just makes the stuff you did seem kind of pointless. [/hide]
  15. Did I miss something? I think I know what you mean, but I really don't have that with Halo. I've had that with other games (mostly mediocre FPS's). The feeling that the weapons don't have enough kick or something. Can't really describe it either. I don't really agree with you on the enemies. I love the variety that the enemies in Halo have. Elites, Grunts, Jackals, Hunters. They all require a different approach. Even in Half-life you fight humanoid enemies most of the time who often die by just putting some shots in their head. In Halo you've got Elites who require you to disable their shields first (preferably with a plasma pistol overcharge) and then a quick headshot to finish it off. Grunts are easy to kill with a simple headshot but very annoying because of their numbers. Jackals require you to shoot in the tiny hole in their shield before you can actually hit their body. Hunters can only be killed by shooting them in the orange part of their body. Add this to the fact that you have to fight them at the same time and you get great firefights.
  16. One of the reason I love Halo is because the gameplay is so different from other shooters. Fighting all kinds of different enemies at the same time is so much more fun than killing humans (i.e. Battlefield, MoH, CoD etc.). The story has never really been the best part of the Halo games. There's so much potential but Bungie can never live up to it. The books do a better job in that regard.
  17. What do you find boring about it? Just wondering.

Some things I'd like to point out: -I hope you don't have to sit through the first 5ish minutes every time you play the mission. -That guy can drive backwards very well. -Loads of chest-high cover. -This doesn't really convince me yet. Seems like a pretty standard singleplayer. But hey, it's only the first few minutes.
  19. After what MW2 was...
  20. I'm so disappointed in humanity.
  21. sorry, but I have yet to catch this contagious 'no life cancer' people speak of. Are the symptoms being a high schooler with too much time on his hands and having a 'girlfriend' who also plays halo reach? What's this talk about having no life? I'm just saying playing for 4 hours a day isn't healthy.

The (first) beta was pretty awful, like it was trying to be BC2 in CoD maps. Everything just felt off.
