I'm F2P so can't comment on PC but I got my range up to 64 (so far) by killing hill giants in the Edgeville dungeon and ice giants in the ice dungeon south of Port Sarim.

Any beggars that ask me for stuff are always either ignored or told to go and work for the cash/items they want as that's how I got all the things I own in the game.

Maybe. Seems like a lot of rs players can't get my name right. Then again, with the amount of noobs around it gives me an excuse to ignore them if they can't even call me by the right name!

This happened to me yesterday while standing at the fountain in Varrock helping a friend with a quest. I was wearing full rune. Noob: Hey dbhibs! Me : Yes? Noob: How much for head? Me: Pardon????? Noob: Head Me: Eh???? Noob : For your rune head Me: Ah I see now!! Me : You mean a rune helmet! Noob: Yeah Me : Not for sale Noob: Noob!! I don't think the noob realised that what he was asking could be interpreted in different ways! :-w

Glad to hear that I'm not the only adult player (I'm 36) who's been subject to abuse from dumb kids because of their age. Recently I've been playing mostly on world 7 and have noticed players there are much more polite and friendly regardless of their ages.

Rapid for me I found 5k arrows on the floor in the Stronghold Of Security which I am using to up my ranging and it's taking a long time to use them up so speed of gaining xp is more important to me.

Yup - noticed that recently. You can do it in the general store in Lumbridge too.

Being F2P and only having played on and off for just over a year I don't have any really valuable items so I'd have to pick my zombie mask just because it looks cool to wear - especially with full green dragonhide armour.
