  1. I got there late so someone else will have to give you the full rundown, however I can tell you that tip it totally owned =D> good job guys! Unfortunately there were a large number of bsers and traitors that used our method of target designation to get a lot of us killed, including myself :shame: I was personally killed by a stack of tip it team players. Which is just sad. Shame on you guys. anyway I know a lot of ppl will be wanting to list ppl that betrayed them during the war so this is the place to do it, and post anything else you saw during the war I'll update the list up here as you guys post more names. List of traitors and n00bs: 1. - ~Name removed - No Pics, No proof - Das~ 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10.
  2. well that was easier than expected. got the rune (g) platebody. Got bored and sold a bunch of stuff to get it lol. Oh well. Done is done. Mod delete this post or whatever if you feel like it.
  3. My solution is for Jagex to create a new higher class of player mods that has the ability to ban. These would have to be VERY carefully selected and well informed of the seriousness of the responsibility. These player mods could then stake out the usual bot spots at their leisure and machine gun ban all the ppl they are fairly certain are bots, these bans would then be reviewed by Jagex to ensure no skill pures got owned in the banning. Also the mods could have some sort of tool that would allow them to view the servers data on how bot like the characters activity is. Basically the idea behind this is supplementing Jagex's mod force without them having to pay more for dedicated "bot police". And since I know skill pures are going to throw a tantrum over this, I say take the time to make your character not look like a bot. If your too lazy to raise your lvl over lvl 3 thats your problem. Oh wow. Something obvious just occured to me. REQUIRED BANK PINS. But of course autoers could identify the numbers. Which is why we use basic computer shortcomings to defeat that, have many different graphics for each number (like fancy 1, green 1, blue 1, etc). While they MIGHT find a way around this, judging by how computers identify faces etc., this would totally kill the bots as half the time they would get stuck on the bank pin. It wouldn't be that big of an inconvenience and would help the game alot. I'm thinking the bank pin ones better, and both need major tweeking to make them feasible but I was thinking fast so bear with me. Variations welcome and a little activity to spark creativity/humor since this is an annoying subject: everyone posts their personal reason for hating bots at the end of their post personal reason for hating bots: bots in the mining guild = :wall:
  4. Well I suppose this could probably be put in a new thread but I don't have time right now. Everyone who says you can't stop the bots with a cmbt lvl requirement is absolutely right. The only way it would work would be if you may the lvl req. so high that it made the bot get caught before it got to that lvl, which would totally piss all the legit low lvls off. My solution (this is the part that prob needs a new thread) is for Jagex to create a new higher class of player mods that has the ability to ban. It wouldn't be that big of an inconvenience and would help the game alot. Premptive apology. I'll make the body of this into a new thread. Consider this a quoting of it lol. Srry for the rant but I'm sure you'll get some ideas from it.
  5. 11:10 Sunday December 1 2007 Thought up my plan for making money and getting smithing exp relatively quickly. The Plan: Get 200 steel bars by mining iron and coal sell bars on grand exchange buy 400 coal with money made/save difference mine 200 iron to combine/make steel bars sell steel bars rinse lather repeat... minus the mining coal Main goal: get enough money to buy guilded rune platebody Side goals: get mining/smithing xp sell rune shield (h1) on grand exchange I will post the money calculations on this tomorrow, for now you'll have to settle for what exactly I did today and current lvl/xp standings Current xp in mining and smithing: Smithing : lvl 59 : 260,764 xp Mining: lvl 70 : 747,585 xp Day Journal: Day 1 got enough iron and coal to make 200 steel bars, smelted, sold at grand exchange for minimum price -.- bought 400 coal at max price mined about 100 iron at varrock west mine goals for tomorrow: get enough iron for 200 bars, smelt and sell, buy more coal I will start adding screenshots for some point to reading all of this. Bumps are appreciated, buying my rune shield (h1) on the grand exchange(its at minimum price) will earn you my eternal gratitude. Accepting sell offers for that guilded rune platebody but the money will take me a while to get doing it this way (I currently have about 80k in the bank, market price is around 315K I think, would help if my stupid shield would sell) Thanks for reading, Make Way4
  6. Now I am pretty much clan challenged, I just really don't have that much free time on my hands to get involved in any serious clans, but I can tell you that the days of the dominant clan are pretty much over I was on f2p forever before I decided to become member and I can tell you that absolutly noone owns the f2p servers anymore, just a bunch of 4-15 man teams of 100s ocassionaly get some good kills, but other than that its pretty open P2P simply cannot be controlled due to the number of high lvls and high lvl clans that have popped up since pcing was introduced, not to mention the ammount of servers there are now. You can own some of the runescape pop. some of the time but not all of it all the time. And the only clans that might be able to control a server are my least favorite kindof clan, the way too serious for a game with this bad of graphics clans that have all sorts of rules and regulations. I mean has anyone seen the list of rules for the Roman Empire clan? Yah lol someone had way too much time on their hands I know you probably think I have no clue what I'm talking about and your probably right just filter out anything intellegent I might have said lol, Make Way4
  7. Okay coming from the POV of a mid lvl (lvl 76 to be exact). I know there some people who use pc constantly and lvl a ton, and I personally don't have a problem with it, but I still don't do that myself. In my opinion PC is boring as anything, its either over in 2 secs and you've lost badly due to having tons of lvl 45s trying to get free xp on your boat, or its over in slightly longer due to having miraculously(becoming less miraculous every day) found a world with tons of 120s. You want to know how I lvl my skills? Brace yourself you may want to scream "OMG WAT A FRIEKING N00B!". I play castlewars :shock: , thats right, cw :-# , the almost garaunteed slowest way to get xp in the game. Why the hell would I do that you ask? Because its fun! I think something we're starting to lose sight of in Runescape is that games are meant to be fun and relaxing (to a degree). The only time I EVER use pc is if I'm training something like mage that takes too much money for my poor self to train. Honestly I think that the only people that should use pc are those that are very high lvl and trying to get a 99 (since we all know you have to get a ridiculous amount of xp to get from 98 to 99). Everyone else should at least get some on the job training instead of just pcing a skill you know nothing about. And better yet, go do some quests! They are the best way to get yourself exploring the different areas. Honestly I'm guilty of this myself, ignoring the quests, I've been a member for 2 months and have hardly left the camelot-ardougne-yanille area. Furthermore I think jagex should add a more fun and ejoyable minigame that gives less xp than pc for those of us who would actually like to have some fun and get decent xp at the same time. So the next time I ask one of you 126s which general direction to go in to get to something, please have enough knowledge to be able to answer me if you felt like it.

  10. This slot is reserved for later posting =;
  11. I guess it would be kinda repetitive to repost a request that I already have a thread for, but if you find the thread labeled "Sig Request!!!" thats my request, it pretty much has the same stuff you asked us to provide you with, and that would be awesome if you could make it for me!
  12. ok requesting someone to do a sig for me, Specs for image: whatever you and your artistic talent want my guy to be doing, hey you have creative license, preferably not skilling though, that would just be lame Character specs: the brown emo style haircut that they have in the game, rune platebody, random event camo pants, fighting boots, red gloves, rune 2h, red cape, power ammy Text: somewhere on the sig make a note of, Make Way4, lvl 70 Quote: "call in the heavy artillery..." I will be extremely grateful if someone can help me here, I have like 0 art talent :thumbsup:
