  1. Bah.. just an FYI don't jump to conclusions. It's not the newbie's fault if they were standing around where somebody had dropped stuff and pick it up. If they were waiting there directly on the space where the stuff was dropped it's safe to say they were drop trading though. >_> To be honest, if anybody is going to drop trade something that's actually worth stealing, they're probably at least smart enough to go where nobody is going to look. Good places to do it would be upstair floors in houses as not many people go up them unless there's something that's worth doing up there. ...and usually there isn't. PS: Rofl at someone who actually admitted they were drop trading. You'd think they wouldn't want to get banned.
  2. Well one of my recent goals, as of haering about the Lunar spellbook, is to do the Lunar Diplomacy quest. I do not have the required firemaking level or crafting, but the firemaking is just 3-4 levels out of my reach and I think I can do that. The real problem is my crafting. Level 43. Is there any way around using that skill in the quest, or how would I go about training my crafting +20 levels?
  3. Well I have been thinking.. Warriors, Mages and Rangers are all classes.. why not those who use Prayer? I can't think of a good name but Priest or Monk sounds fine to me. -What defines a class? It's about the way they fight. We'd need additional prayer spells, such as.. Saradomin's Blessing- Negates the effects of all other prayers on you. But this drains your prayer very fast and you can not attack players or use other prayers while this is in effect. Guthix's Balancing- lower or heal every player's hp in the area(multicombat) to make them all similar. This should cost at least 20-30 Prayer Points. Zamorak's Smiting- Damages a certain prayer and disallows them from using protection prayers such as Melee, Missle, and Magic. Saradomin's Blessing is not negated by this. 10-20 points or something I fear that if someone were to camp near an altar they could repeatedly use a spell like Guthix's Balancing or something and then recharge and repeat. This might be considered a strategical advantage by some rather than being unfair, as if you were to approach an altar in the wilderness where someone was doing this it's your fault for entering the wildy in the first place. Also the skill might be strange as if it works the way I imagine it the Combat level system would have to be remade so that you can be prayer based and your level ups will effect your combat. Another problem is that prayer would be levelled up by burying bones rather than using your skills in combat, so this might make it unfair or too hard. I don't know which, or what to say about it. >_> If Prayer was a class along with the other three I don't know if it would have advantages or disadvantages along with the others.. This could ruin Runescape if it was not done correctly so it mgiht have been better if it just worked like magic, being weak to Range and strong against Warriors. EDIT: Another idea I had was healing 10-30% of your HP at the cost of all your prayer points or another player. That's all I have to say. Go ahead and criticize if you want, I was just thinking that this might be a cool idea.
  4. 1. No mouse. You're going to have lots of trouble playing Runescape on a PSP. 2. I doubt PSPs are advanced enough to run Java and play Runescape. My advice is get a real PSP game. Megaman X is pretty good.
  5. For starters I am lvl 76 in case you were wondering.. I hear a lot of "pest control is just easy training" but the only thing that ever happens when I play it is I get shunned by higher lvl players. Apparently just because they invited their lvl +90 friends to the world I should leave. So that's one option down the drain... unfortunately I'd rather find something else to do other than sucking it up and making a large group of players hate me. So where is a good place to train? I've been Combat lvl 76 for.. I don't even know how long. I hate training, especially for combat, as it's an endless cycle of fishing some food, fighting the same monster repeatedly and getting the same crappy drops, and then repeat. Can I hear some good ways to train my combat skills?
  6. Well the other day I went to Mort'ton to go kill Afflicted's and got a clue scroll right befor I ran out of food. I tried Relekka later hoping for a better reward(I got an Elegant Blouse.. Not exactly my thing considering I'm a dude )and got nothing. Try killing Afflicted, or apparently HAM Members are good. If you're a good thief or don't mind frequent trips to the HAM prison or being thrown outside. You'd think they'd make sure you can't get back in before they knock you out and toss you out the door. :P
  7. Basically when I get pked when I don't even have any items for them to take. PKing sounds like the most boring activity ever as no pker can resist an unarmed fellow walking around not looking for any trouble. They say "it's for the exp" but if they wanted that they wouldn't be pking. They're just so bored(and nothing ever really happens in the wilderness aside from two or three pkers walking around that occasionally run into eachother and fight) they needed some action and decided to pwn some noobs. Also I hated getting Claws of Guthix because I got pked constantly and lost Blood Runes but that's perfectly fair. It just is very irritating but I guess I need to be more careful in the wildy..
  8. Okay. We already know it. Some abbreviations are just plain stupid. Saying "hatchet" instead of "axe" is dumb. "Sara"... Well, nobody is going to know what you mean when saying "SELLING SARA PL8". But are we really too lazy to write down simple words? Also, another problem we have is frequent typos. "IM ON P2P TEam Thsi Is a Battle No sticks and stones though This shud B A Prrofensionalish Debate LOL! Umm yeah.... I just read A P2P Dissing all these F2p forever People And I agree that F2P forevre is a stupid idea unless u only wnana play for a month!" (That was not meant to offend the person who wrote it. Don't hurt me.) ...I rest my case. Anyways, I think I'm going to list all of the abbreviations/nicknames I know and have you guys rate on whether it's good or not. Axe = Hatchet Adamantite = Addy Saradomin = Sara Platebody = Plate/Pl8 Mithril = Mith Pot = Potion Two hander = 2H Pickaxe = Pick Gold = Gp Runite = Rune Please = Plz Thank you = Ty 000 (thousand) = K *IN EXAMPLE = 1K* Scimmy = Scimitar Long = Longsword Short = Shortsword Level = Lvl Wilderness = Wildy Player Kill = PK Continue the discussion.
