  1. TBH the kingdom is a great way to make money at a very slow pace. It generates supplies for you without the need to really do much except travel there and cut a handful of logs to get your approval rating back up to max, and then simply wait it out till you receive you payout...whenever you want. Just remember to keep an amount of cash over 750k to maximize production as any amount under 750k will decrease.

If I was you, and you had a little bit of extra money laying around, you should do both kingdom quests and work at invest some into this great moneymaker.

A few things to help you out:

    Basic Guide on the Kingdom

Some really good turnouts from the kingdom

    Hope this helps ::'

  2. I do believe it is nearly impossible now unless you are able to tank against all of his attacks w/o prayer at all, but that will be nearly impossible due to your 1 defense. I wish I could give you some better advice, but the most I can give is just to hope you can still block against him.

  3. Dragon Dagger P++: Hits extremely well damage with 4 Special Attacks: Where you hit twice (x2). So that's 4x2=8 Hits.

    + Poisons. Daggers=best stab.

So no, i don't think leaf is better.

Yeah that would work, but then after, why not go for a main weapon with better stab? a dagger is only as good as the specials, and then it isn't very useful as a main attack weapon. The leaf bladed has an overall higher stab bonus. So, in invent you should have a dds, along with your supplies, a leaf bladed sword along with a rune def to maximize you stab effectiveness.

If a team of say 10 (this is the average amount of members I see per trip) all use this method, "specing" out the boss in the beginning, I can see the Corporal beast falling fairly quickly to their hands.

  4. I do believe that this is the "best" way to kill the beast at this time. It as just as fast as a whip, and since it is only one-handed, it can have +2 slash attack more than the z-spear as well as having the ability to train any form of combat and not just controlled. Not to mention if this weapon is lost in the fight it isn't as big of a deal as losing a z-spear which is 900k current mid-price in the grand exchange. This will allow for people to risk the sword in favor of better bonuses to attack, and not fear losing much (sword is only 48k in GE).

Just bought a few, and will test this out soon.

  5. Here are my two cents:

Divine: THE best defense shield in the game, but over time will cost more to use than Elysian.

30% Damage reduction on all attacks is like protecting against all 3 forms of combat in PvP. I'm kind of going crazy that they would introduce such a high reduction rate... solo Bandos is considerably easier now that Graardor will only hit 20 instead of 30 on me. I would say it is worth its 80M price tag. Plus I'd rather much have this shield than the ability to summon a silly unicorn

The drawbacks are that it is expensive to use this special ability. Because the damage reduction also drains your prayer, you would need a high prayer level and a lot of extra prayer pots to effectively use this shield. With that said, if you have 80 prayer (which restores ~27? prayer points per ppot dose), each dose (worth ~2K) "heals" you 54 damage. This is cheaper than sharks, plus you don't have to eat. In addition you can hold 4 * 54 = 200 HP of "healing" per inventory spot. This is 3 times the amount that a brew could hold.

Analysis for 99 prayer: 33 prayer points per ppot dose = 66 damage healed for 2K = 66*4 = 264 HP of healing per invent spot.

Another point is that you need to carefully use this technique. If you lapse in concentration it might drain your prayer too low.

Also the fact that it is attack-neutral (i.e. doesn't cost you range or mage attack points) makes it a better shield for rangers and magers.

Elysian: The "welfare" version of Divine

70% of all hits will be reduced in damage by 25%. Not as good as 30% damage reduction on everything, but you don't have to pay anything for it. Even so, the 25% on 70% is still a lot and trumps the DFS imo.

Although I would say the Elysian is more practical for camping at places; it doesn't require ppots (and thus, invent spaces). So Elysian would be useful for something like DK's while Divine would be useful for something like solo Graardor. It's also useful for people who don't want to continually buy prayer pots...

Also the fact that it is attack-neutral (i.e. doesn't cost you range or mage attack points) makes it a better shield for rangers and magers.

Ok, mainly I just want to clear up a bit on this. First off, the Divine shield is a really excellent shield for its effect, 30% off all damage types at the cost of half that damage protected is removed from prayer. That is exactly it. The prayer pots don't heal you at all, it simply just protects against the attacks, but you still take 70% of that damage the monster would give you.

Of course, it is a good thing that if, for say, Kree'ara ranged you for a 66 when you forgot to put on range prayer before spawn. You would still take a 46, but lose 10 prayer points. This is one drawback I could see while using this shield. The prayer drain could be extremely fast if you are being attacked by multiple creatures like that at GWD. If you are for instance solo'ing Bandos, and the minions in combination with the boss's range attack will drain your prayer for every hit. hence the 30% drain from ALL attacks. So even small hits like 3, or 6 will be dropped to 2 and 4, and you would lose 1-2 prayer points respectively. So, unless you are even more careful, your prayer could drain, leaving you open to full melee attacks, and with prayer gone completely, your shield won't protect you. (Not sure if it won't take off 30% even with prayer 0. If anyone can prove this)

Even so, this shield is simply amazing. With its drainage effects, even though you may need more prayer potions to counter the prayer drain from protection, your normal received damage will go down immensely. Say when you normally would use 15 sharks and 1 ppot dose, you would now use 10 sharks and 3 ppot doses. And not that prayer potions only take one space instead of 5 for the sharks saved, making this great for solos.

  6. Looks like we have something new to hunt

2k hit points is simply amazing though, it makes me want to go fight it now, but i have stuff to do. Not to mention 13 charms per kill :o And it kinda looks like Jad in an odd sort of way.

And if you were properly supplied with gear and such, i bet you could kill it more than 2 times, but jeez t5hats pretty crazy.

  7. Usually at my clan, it is mostly on a normal level, with a few swears used to simply emphasize a point, but there can be times when it gets a little crazy, and sometimes have to jump in and keep it together.

Mostly we allow swearing just because we don't find it very offensive, unless it is directed at a person or racial terms are brought up, and then it is the time to stop it until the abuse ends, but if your just talking, and your upset, or happy or some other high emotion, it can be hard to express what you mean if you can't say certain words.

  8. Maybe use the blast furnace and just do mithril plate bodies and alch them. I don't think you lose much money since mithril ore isn't that expensive since the last time I checked.

Or even just go with some adamant bolts, although not great experience, you don't lose much, and actually might make money.

  9. I think in addition of the farming and MTK, since they are great absent-minded ways to make cash while alching, you can possibly throw in some assisting once you get higher levels, and gain bonus xp without having to do anything. You can also do item spawn collecting, although off hand I can't really note any good ones to collect.

The two main once are still MTK and farming. (always use super compost and blessed Secateurs from Fairy Tale pt:1)
