The only explanation can be that the majority of people that listen to Green Day don't give a rat's [wagon] about the message of their songs, and just listen because they think it is 'cool' or the popular thing to do. I have been and continue to be a Green Day fan ever since the release of American Idiot, and have been and continue to be a non-supporter of Bush ever since he was elected. I think people should learn to rely on themselves a bit more, rather than on what other people tell them to do. --- So you hate Bush because your favorite band says so?

U2 is one of the greatest bands in the world, Bono's lyrics is the best in the world. just listen to songs like Electrical storm, Miracle drug or One. Green Day is ok i guess. but the lyrics for the song is sooooooooooooo bad! theyre repeated all the time and they say nothing! a true u2 fan speaking, the ONLY band u2 should ever cope with is REM
