  1. I thought 1 and 2 as questions were virtually inseperable.
  2. I collect goblin mails, I don't buy them though, so I only have 34.
  3. That wasn't a bad article, maybe it could've done with a bit more literary articulation, but it sparked debate and that, in my mind, is its primary function. What I am miffed about however, is that Did you know... about Shantay Pass and Port Sarim. That was my ace-in-the-hole for impressing people! That actually quite a nifty little trick, little known among free players because of the fact that few of us (them now) actually bother to go to Shantay more than once, simply because there is nothing to do there!
  4. I got elegant legs on my fifth level 1, which I though was quite good. Since then I got a Sara page one (by itself) and 5 purple firelighters (which I still can't find the value of) and a bob shirt together (when in my inventory or my wearing screen it is pink on front, in game when I look at it it is white in centre. Wierd or what?) EDIT: I just rotated the screen and saw my back. I'll save you all the opportunity of ridiculing me.
  5. I didn't even realise you could be perm muted. Instead of perm mute you should be given 6 months-1 year. I got temp muted once. I have never even said "drat" in-game since. I also support last-chance appeal.
  6. Oh thanks, I didn't realise I needed the items in my inventory to talk to him about it.
  7. I am doing the Biohazard quest and I need to get the touchpaper from the chemist. When I speak to him it says "Do you want to talk about lamps" and whether I click yes or no I cannot get the touchpaper! My quest book says I need touchpaper from him but I can't get it. Can someone please help me?
  8. And until that day, keep your day job :P
  9. New tactic: Bombard everyone with completely insane theories until someone breaks down. Thanks for the hints everyone!
  10. We have definitely got a new editor this week and peoples research seem to indicate Ard. I believe (KNOW!!!one!!!!11!!eleven!!!one111) that we have had a new editor this week (a quick ctrl+f of "real" (as opposed to really)) will tell you that in the past (one example is that multiple editor story) really has been used. A slightly more American attitude can also be observed in the current article. Although both of these editors say they try to keep their skills roughly the same, loads of people do that (I try to). That also may have been a (fairly puny) attempt to iron over the editor switching wrinkles. In conclusion, we have managed to identify a new editor in their first week, \ so everyone deserves a pat on the back =D> case closed! (for the moment)
  11. 11.1875 (F2P), but only because I used to only smith, mine, fish and cook, and I only just started training combat.
  12. Maybe it's just possible that the editor is just an eminent forum member, that every few months is replaced by another eminent forum member picked by the crewbies. Aren't they busy enough without having to write a thought-provoking article every week?
  13. I'm fairly certain kiara_kat was at one point.
  14. I had no idea there was a TET AU  , but now I know there is, I'm definitely going! :D
  15. BUMP!!! I was just randomly browsing the archives (Lobby merchanting is boring) when I realised that at well as the simple, hard evidence (stats, etc) which may be helpful for identification we can use the editors views to date them to periods (and possibly even their posts at a stretch). For instance the 28th May '06 post, trust in jagex's ability to scourge macroers is shown. But if you go forward a bit to some of the more recent articles and their why Jagex why? attitude and there seems to be a shift in opinion. Another useful indicator could be how our current editor is quite keen on the idea of Fansites and Jagex together in some form of mutually benificial union. When we have rough dates like this we could possibly (at the most outer reaches of our imaginations) look for which crewbies made a reduced number of post into the date guidelines we have now created. (a simple view posts check should be able to do this, granted we would only be able to check commonly responded to topics and stickies, but I never see them post out of them much anyway. Perhaps we could produce some form of posts made line graph for the most prominent crewbies and compare them to our guidelines. Just my thoughts. *Searches for shrug emoticon* EDIT: Oh, and we know our current editor is male, so that will narrow our search down slightly, at least for our current one.
  16. I used to live in Taiwan so I know rudimentary mandarin. I'm too tired know though, I'll ahve a crack tomorrow morning at making a list. EDIT: OK, that means what do you want? Ni hao-hello (nee how) xie xie - thankyou (shyeh shyeh) Zai jian- (bye) (ziiiiii jen) hen hao- very good (hen how) Ni hao ma- how are you? (nee how ma) Bu hao- No good (boo how) Hen gui- very expensive (hen gway) Bu yao- Don't want or no (good for getting rid of people sellign you stuff!)(boo yow) Jie guo- excuse me (jay gwo) That just about covers it. The problem with internet chinese is that you can't put on accents with the average key board, so you could say something which means one thing but also means something else, so be careful. Edit 2: Oh wow, we're typing this, and I just gave pronounciation.
