  1. Promises Kept, by Champion. Pretty sweet band. Always good for a random listen here and there, but I can't see myself into it every day.
  2. Oh! I Spilled My Beer, by Chad Smith's Bombastic Meatbats. Great instrumental band with some incredibly catchy tracks.
  3. Glockapella, by Cee Lo Green. From his second album, the one before the one [bleep] You was on and that. So much better than the following stuff. Shame he ditched this for that, but it makes him more money, so I can understand. Now we just need a new Gnarls Barkley album.
  4. And so we come to The Cat Empire. I love them so much. Great Australian band that I don't know if people outside of Australia know or not. One of my favourite bands, so I'll do another best of each album post. Hello. Great, upbeat, catchy track with some easy to sing along to lyrics. The Car Song. Probably my all-time favourite Cat Empire track. Love it. Side to Side. Cities is probably their weakest album, but still has some sweet stuff in it. Panama. A bit more slowed and chilled out than my other favourites, but ya know, that's good once in a while. Feeling's Gone. First track I heard from this album and just remained as my favourite. Brighter Than Gold. Didn't really give this album as much a go as I did their others, so this is the only one I know truly well. But yeah, that's it. Gettin' keen for a new release, should be some time soon, surely.
  5. Just What I Needed, by The Cars. I don't really like these guys too much, but I don't not like them enough to delete their best of collection.
  6. Can't Leave the Night, by BADBADNOTGOOD. Forgot I got these guys, so I better cover my letters. Pretty chilled out and sick music. Not too bad. Ray Gun, by BADBADNOTGOOD and others. The song I heard to get me to get them, sick track as well. Dat DOOM.
  7. Jolie Coquine, by Caravan Palace. Eh. I used to enjoy this a lot more, when I thought I was cool for listening to electro-swing. Not so much any more. They're cool and unique-ish, I guess.
  8. Candy, by Cameo. One of the greatest tracks from the San Andreas soundtrack. Bounce FM master race.
  9. Dancing with a Dead Man, by Calling All Cars. Actually have a signed copy of this album, with a good story behind it, but I'm too lazy to post it.
  10. Whoops. I accidentally got another B artist. Foreplay/Long Time, by Boston. Damn son, that intro. One of the best. Great track, but I can't say much about the band yet, only just got them. Can see myself enjoying them greatly, however.
  11. No joke, first time I heard Michael Jackson's version I thought he was rippin' off AAF. Pepper, by Butthole Surfers. This song is really bloody amazing. Just a great, catchy, all-around awesome song. So good to sing along to. Nothing but praise to the Butthole Surfers for this track, the rest of their stuff, maybe not. Except maybe Who Was in My Room Last Night?, by Butthole Surfers. Also a sick track, in a different vein. And with that, we end the letter of B. Tune in next time, for C.
  12. Everytime, by Butterfingers. Another unknown group with a few sick tracks. This one is my favourite from their two albums. I Love Work, by Butterfingers. And my second favourite track of theirs.
  13. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HpP-8tJ-9Js Imaginary Places, by Busdriver. Oh man, the speed. Such a great track from such an (I want to say underrated, but that's not right) unknown? rapper. I can go along for the first two verses? sections?, but after that he loses me. So good, though.
  14. Well, well, well. Here we come to yet another of my favourite game soundtracks. Burnout 3. One of my brother's favourite too, and I think it shaped 90% of his music taste. I'll refrain from posting ones I love from bands I have in my library, though. Over the Counter Culture, by the Ordinary Boys. Time and Time Again, by Chronic Future. C'mon, by Go Betty Go. Here I Am, by the Explosion. Animal, by Mudmen. All amazing tracks, even missing a few that were so good I had to go and download all of them.
  15. Love Smooth McGroove, he's sick. Love listening to his stuff, even if I don't know the game he's doing. It's okay. ily U Hurt Me, by Burial. I really actually forgot I had this guy on my computer, and it's great.
  16. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=54H3EUAzpVg Breadfan, by Budgie. Oh baby. From the Brutal Legend soundtrack, and one of the best. I knew it was gonna be a great playing session when I fired up the game, summoned the Deuce and this song came on.
  17. Hmm. The Brutal Legend soundtrack. One of the best soundtracks I've ever heard, and raises the game from like a 5/10 to a 7/10. Hard to pick a favourite because it was this game that inspired me to download a ton of artists, but my favourite track from an artist that I haven't downloaded all of is probably: When the Night Falls, by Iced Earth. Awesome track. I don't know why I didn't download all of them, actually. And this version is longer and better than the one on the soundtrack, so, sweet.
  18. You hear the same thing over and over from people. I find it to be a very relaxing game myself, and I enjoy driving. I can' wait until they finish up American Truck Simulator, since I prefer the long nose style to the flat fronts. I should probably look at mods to hold me over in the mean time, but I got turned off by some that had a seam where the truck would normally end (between cap and engine). Ah man, that'd be sweet. I said that to my brother today (Who still doesn't get it), that I'd prefer it if I could drive the other style of trucks. Might keep my ears open for news of this. Regardless, I'll still be driving on the wrong side of the road, we need Australian Truck Simulator. Does anywhere in Europe change sides?
  19. Euro Truck Simulator 2. Not even kidding, this is the most enjoyable game I've played in a while. I laughed at the idea of it when I bought it a year ago for like six bucks, but after seeing Brutalmoose (highly recommend) and later PBG (medium recommend) play it on YouTube for a bit, I finally installed it and I'm lovin' it. I've only got one truck to my name and I'm doing long deliveries all over the place, but I'm slowly making my way towards upgrading home base, buying another truck and hiring my first driver. Highly recommend this game, but only when it goes on sale, it might not be as good for you as it is for me. Also if you want to add me on Steam, click here.
  20. Rosalita, by Bruce Springsteen (and his band maybe I'm not sure). Great track, as with most of Bruce's best known stuff. Reminds me of the time we listened to him as my mate's dad averaged 160k's an hour so he could get us to the train in time to go see Chemical Brothers. Not the best fast-driving music, but it worked.
  21. Notice of Eviction, by The Bronx. Loved The Bronx ever since I heard this track on NFSUG2 (The greatest racing game of all time). Short and sweet. Real shame I can't easily find all of Mariachi el Bronx.
  22. Trap Doors, by Broken Bells. Seriously one of my favourite albums of all time, brilliant every second and not one moment of any song that's bad. Shame their follow-up wasn't as amazing. Still great, but a few notches off anything better.
  23. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zK_q79T5H3U Fire Your Guns, by AC/DC. Since my last post, I re-acquired AC/DC n my music library, I deleted them because they get super repetitive quick, but when I heard they released stuff last year (Completely skipped by me), I got 'em again. Fire Your Guns is probably my absolute favourite, and The Razors Edge is definitely my favourite album of theirs. Thunderstruck is on it too. Such a great pump-up track, and well-deserving of its incredible following. Also, Big Balls. Because it's great too.
  24. Rat Race, by Brody Dalle. Oh baby. Brody Dalle is awesome. Saw her live as the support for QOTSA/NIN when I saw them early last year, and she destroyed it. I believe she played this, but we didn't know it as the album unfortunately hadn't dropped yet. Love her and her projects as well, get keen to see her more later on. On a somewhat related note, it's a shame Trent Reznor's missus didn't cameo at our show like she did at others, that would have made that concert even sicker.
  25. Ah man, I downloaded Run the Jewels the other week and loved the small snippets I heard, but I need to give them a proper listen. Trooper, by Boys Noize. Yet another sick-as electronic track. Love it.
