  1. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5vcyVDkRv3E Beyond This Life, by Dream Theater. Man oh man, I found it difficult to pick my favourite Dream Theater track. So much great stuff over such a great career. I think this is my top pick. Other ones in the running were As I Am, The Dance of Eternity, Constant Motion, Learning to Live, Pull Me Under, and The Count of Tuscany. Really great band.
  2. Well, this is what I heard: once you came my waynothing's been the samei know what you've been throughi'm still here for you'cause i've watched you walk awayso much left to sayand though things haven't been that wayi'm still here for you But I can't find nothin'. Sorry.
  3. The Handler is definitely the best track from the album, because it's got a slight sound of their older stuff. Psycho's okay too, I guess, but the rest, eh. https://youtu.be/WVvlVHdLCx0?t=45 Back and Forth, by Dr. Steel. Another silly little artist I fell in love with.
  4. Very nice. I just wish their previous album was more like this throughout. Actually, I can't really remember anything from the last album well apart from Can't Kill Us, but it wasn't that great. Ramble, ramble, ramble. In other news: Deadly Sinners, by 3 Inches of Blood. Pretty great track from an awesome band. Created solely to headbang along to.
  5. Nuthin' But a 'G' Thang, by Dr. Dre/Snoop Dogg. Classic.
  6. Cook, Serve, Delicious. It sorta feels like a old flash game I used to play, and it's wonderful. Very nice balance of challenge and easy. Awesome to play while catching up on YouTube/TV as well. Also, they announced Fallout 4. No other place to discuss it really and I ain't making a thread. Anyone as keen as I am?
  7. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DED812HKWyM Riders on the Storm, by the Doors. One of my favourite tracks of all time from one of my favourite bands of all time.
  8. Breaking the Chains, by Dokken. Brings me back to the birthday that I got GTA VCS for. I played it from about 8 in the morning till 6 at night, only breaking for lunch and a few other birthday shenanigans. It was great.
  9. Tastes So Sweet, by Dog Fashion Disco. Another one of my favourite bands, and I would have posted my favourite from each album, but I just did that for DJ Shadow. Here's my favourite track from their brilliant album last year.

Ah man, it gets better quickly, I'll tell ya that. I bought a house two months ago and moved out about one month ago. First week I was ducking back to dad's everyday, making up reasons to go there. One of the days I didn't even pretend and just went there and said I was lonely. Haha. Second week I pretty much just chilled at mine most of the time, now I don't even worry about it.
  11. Ah, DJ Shadow. Have to say, one of my favourite artists, ever since last year where I stumbled upon him and gave him a proper chance. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jaibam_cVcE Stem/Long Stem (Transmission 2). Great track, just something about the long build up, followed by the faster sections, culminating in the strange, but effective sample of the parking ticket discussion. I feel that there's something sorta mysterious about this track makes me love it. Giving Up the Ghost. That mysterious feel returns. A great album, but I feel this track stands above the rest. Mashin'/Blood on the Motorway are a great couple of tracks too. Enuff. The Outsider is my least favourite album, and before I truly came to love DJ Shadow, I trash talked it hard. The album unfortunately dies down during the middle, it starts strong, but falls off quick, to come back for tracks like these. Come on Riding (Through the Cosmos). Strange to say that one of my now favourite songs of all-time, and my definite favourite track from my definite favourite DJ Shadow album was a bonus track. Something about this song resonates with me, the same way that other random songs have done so for me in past. This is the one to listen to.
  12. Both excellent games. I've been getting amongst the first Witcher, because I'm too poor. I got 10 hours in last time I played and it'll be a while before I see new stuff. It's pretty great, though.
  13. Signatune, by DJ Mehdi. Damn shame this guy died, great track, and great album.
  14. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=37Afc5mcKSk I Don't Give a [bleep], by 2Pac. Downloaded a bunch of these sorta guys recently, Dre, NWA, yeah. Pretty cool to hear, but nothing I'll listen to for hours on end.
  15. That's not the GTA: Vice City soundtrack.
  16. Bassline Junkie, by Dizzee Rascal. Love this guy's voice so much, and I don't even know why. Great video to this track, his mate is so weird lookin' and it's great.
  17. Love a bit of the ol' Offspring. Certified, by Diverse. Hey, another artist I found from THUG2. Love this guy, and the one album I could find is a sweet mix of great songs, started off by this brilliant track.
  18. Beat Your Heart Out, by The Distillers. Love Brody Dalle and her projects. Loved this track from THUG 2 from long before I knew who she was.
  19. I'm getting closer to that one, but not yet. Bang Bang You're Dead, by Dirty Pretty Things. Another band that came from somewhere, but I know them a little better. Pretty catchy track.
  20. Romeo and Juliet, by the Dire Straits. I hope this is that video, my internet is shocking at the moment. Great band with some bloody excellent tracks, this is probably my favourite, but Sultans of Swing, Calling Elvis, and of course, Money for Nothing are great as well.
  21. Perhaps, but I don't remember them. Holy Diver, by Dio. Now this is more my style. RIP.
  22. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OQZmrdwK7YM Feel the Pain, by Dinosaur Jr. Another band I have no recollection of. They're okay I suppose.
  23. Milk Lizard, by The Dillinger Escape Plan. Such a hard-hitting, impossible-to-not-sing/yell-along-to track. One of the best tracks from the Saints Row 2(?, I hope) soundtrack. Shame the rest of their stuff is around the same idea, and nothing really stands out as much as this track does for me.
  24. Nah, I just cruise the internet a lot, and this is one of my five common stops. Saved by Strangers, by Die Mannequin. Never actually listened to this band much, no idea who they even came from. But this track is the stand out from what I've listened to.
  25. Huh. I didn't even think that happened to people in countries that aren't Australia. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nIRVKutblvA Bedlam Sticks, by Diablo Swing Orchestra. Took me forever and a day to find these guys after hearing them randomly once, then not thinking of them for ages. Well worth it when they were found.
