What level in the Lumbridge achievement diary should you get to to make it effective? In f2p any charge is good. But why not go all the way? It's easy. How helpful is it in wars? Free run? You tell me. Is it worth taking in P2P? Nah, there's better rings out there. Is it allowed in most "honour" clan wars rules? I don't see why it would be considered NH.

Like I said, their level without summoning and disable the ability to use familiars, it's not hard at all to find someone's combat without summoning. If someone let's their opponent cheat without telling whoever the leader(s) of DMR, that's their own fault for not speaking up. Yes, when new users join DMR, they usually don't know who's who. Edit: I'm not sure if this was the intention.. But maybe leave the ranking lists open instead of closing them for just joining purposes. That way, the amount of pointless threads on the board is minimized.

As to your actual suggestion, it doesn't seem necessary. Something I think we should look at running organized COD4, Brawl, etc. tournaments. You don't need a event team for this. We have official clan tournaments and it's usually run just by one person and officiated by the clan mods.

What do you suggest for 52-60 then? The melee/slayer section is nearly complete, tell me what you all think. I'm still missing some exp per h for parts of the section.

A front page announcement is essential if you really want to alert people. It's not that people aren't into the idea, it's that the PVP board has been dead for too long. People rarely check a dead board. As for opinions, It looks good so far, a few suggestions though. Start with two lists for each version of the game and instead of 100 ranks, start with 50 ranks for each list. Requirements for lists could be, 3-70 and 71-126. Meaning that summoning does not count towards the combat and you can not use summoning in official duels. Also, one thing at a time, don't make the person declare and join up at the same time. Usually they put like "Peterpan joining DMR" instead of putting something like "Peterpan changelling Dbzruler". People aren't going to check every joining thread, meaning there's going to be a boatload of challenges ignored.

Would 10 be a bad compromise?

Thanks guys. I have thought about it the past few days and I have decided to start updating this guide again. I plan on reworking each skill section and I will add credit to those I haven't added yet.

It wasn't exactly overruled. Instinct doesn't have to accept the war, it would just be a nice gesture for them to do. But we are willing to extend the tournament if instinct decides to give faith another shot. Any clan not warring the winner of the possible faith/instinct war would not have extended deadlines for the round 4 war. Hopefully they could fit something in like two wars next weekend so it wouldn't have any effect.

I'm not going to reply to your petty flames storm, but I will reply to your concerns. You are probably referring to the DL incident in the TWR. I have explained this one too many times to you stormrage. They were given a warning for their actions, and they apologized for doing it. We will not kick clans from any event at tipit forums for making just one bad judgment on their part. Das is apart of that so called screwed up ruling body. ;) I understand your frustration but Faith should have continued the war as normal because the ending margin largely affects decisions like this.

We've looked at it and felt the rule break was too minor for getting the losing penalty. We do see that Instinct broke a rule but again, we felt it was too minor. It is easy for a member to hit out by mistake. If instinct would have won the war by a smaller margin we may have looked at the situation differently.

I agree with what storm said, Trial and Future Applicant systems destroyed junior clans. People would rather be called FAs instead of being called a "Junior". I think the ending of junior clans had impact on the smaller clans due to the less number of clans their levels to fight.

There's not much of a point besides it makes us look more active. Most fansites have it set at around 15 mins, where we only have it set as 5.

Thanks COS, hope to see you all in future tournaments. The next round matches are in the first post and round 3 has begun. I was not told the winner of the "the mercenaries v 2Mighty" war yet. I will try contacting officials for those results soon.

After evaluating the COS and OW war, we have come to a conclusion that OW receives the win. The main factor was that COS did not have two of their participating members on their runehead memberlist.

Maintaining both is the best. But if choosing one, IRC. It allows the ability to be in multiple channels, share link, and just basic talking is much easier to do on IRC.

Regarding COS v OW: The clan moderators will post our decision on this thread before the third round starts. Bracket will be updated when the 3rd round begins.
