  2. If there is one thing that makes me MAD over everything els is when a group of people at a concert, start using the corna with bands that are rock, or slow rock, or anything other than metal for that matter The corna, also known as the Devil horns, metal horns, Was brought to metal by Ronnie James Dio, way before anyone. Back in the old days, the corna was a superstition. If you felt someone was evil, you yould give them the horns, to ware the devil away, or, you could do it to someone, if you felt like giving the "evil eye" you would point the "horns" at them. Ronnie James Dio Brought it to metal! he was the first one to do it infront of a crowed, although Gene Simmons climes he was! This is a lie, James was the first to bring it to metal The "devil horns" are, as you may of guessed... are belived to be associated with evil spirits, the devil, and thing bad spirited. which i imagine why it was brought to metal! I will copy and paste from Wikipedia: Superstition: When confronted with unfortunate events, or just when these are mentioned or suggested, a person wanting to avoid that fate could resort to the corna to ward off bad luck.Such gestures are typically used when a black cat crosses one's path, when seeing a hearse (whether or not it is loaded), or when encountering any situation, object or person believed to bring about bad luck. It was once thought to prevent or distract the effects of the Evil Eye, that is of intentional or directed curses. Historically the gesture was pointed at people suspected of being witches. Definition: The corna (Italian for horns, also mano cornuta, horned hand and fare le corna, to make the horns) is a gesture with a vulgar meaning in Mediterranean countries and a variety of meanings and uses in other cultures. Its origins can be traced to Ancient Greece. It is realized by extending the index and little fingers while holding the middle and ring fingers down with the thumb. The corna is not to be confused as the sign for "I love you" in American Sign Language, which is made by also extending the thumb, or the shaka sign used in Hawaii, which is made by extending just the thumb and little finger. While the "Hook 'em Horns" sign used by fans of University of Texas athletics is the same sign visually, it is used in different context and should not be confused with either. It is identical to the Karana mudra of Eastern religions. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corna#Terminology) now, to continue, when you see videos of rock, or slow rock, anything close to that genre, you will see this symbol come up.. Why? i DONT KNOW! the symbol was created (in metal terms) for metal! not rock! I am, as you can tell, a metal head, so maybe this only makes me so mad because i cant stand any other music, i dont know, but the corna, is used for metal, it was introduced in metal, not rock, METAL Why people have to go ruin it, i dont know If anyone knows the song "its all the same" - sick puppies That is a SLOW song, its in no way evil, nor bad, but, of corse, watch the video, and what is there in the crowed, but \m/ the corna! Why? i dont know! but it is, people feel they need to do it i guess, even though they are using it in the wrong genre.. Another thing about this symbol, is when people do it for NO reason, for pictures, or on Webcam, or what ever, just randomly use it because they see it on tv, if they are metal heads or not, they have to use it. Why? i dont know. it makes me mad, The \m/ should be ̢̢̮ââ¬Ã¾Ãââ to Metal music, nothing makes me more mad really, its a symbol for metal, it should stay in metal i dont know why, but people think its the "cool" thing to do, which, brings me to another thing i hate, being your own person, but im not going to get started on that! Peope dont seem to understand that its for metal, its not for rock, or pop, or any other genre, and i know some people will disagree, but all the facts are here, so, dont even bother trying to prove me wrong though i know for a fact people will, and there will be people who agree, for sure, but im going to wrap this up with a Metal is for life \m/

Style pl0x. It has advantages. For example, if I made a Halo sig, and you made a...erm..Digimon sig, people are more likely to vote for the Digimon one, due to them knowing the topic more well. Oh...And you get to choose what style you want babeh. Well, then lets go with uhhmmmm something to do with a guitar, a guitar has to be in the sig
  14. interesting way to put it, but as did you

well, R3 has Challenged me to a battle Rules: - No scanlines. - Render or Stock - No Animations. - Scatter brushing HAS to be involved - No specific style - MUST have your name in it somewhere - Subtext is optional Thats the rules we will have 2 judges judging this... So far Soa and Hardwicks have volunteered Entries: Yaff: R3: Good luck
  17. Id be alright with you being a judge, you also, know your stuff, and you are honest And the only reason im turning this into a "bitter battle" is because hes trying to make me look like a bad person when really, i can just be brutally honest

  25. Rofl, no, i will not do that We either get a Poll OR Get people to vote, thats the only fair way You're going to get your friends to vote for you, just like you said in your PM about your friends agreeing - so no. That's unfair. (Don't make me get a picture of this, also..) We'll have a judge, or be it, two. And it's not like i'm going to cheat, I know nobody here. Rofl, i never said ill get my friend, i said we can get others into this ffs Others being? It's not like you're gonna go up to your worst enemy, and say "HAI". Anyway. Have I pursuaded you to take teh judges? What ever, 2 judges, preferably MOD's
