The first article to me, was sad. You can't compare those two types of RWT at all. In RuneScape, it has the potential to ruin the economy, especially if it's unregulated by Jagex (hypothetically speaking as if they were to sell gold.) In a RTS game like the game they recently released, there's no real problem that can be caused by Jagex offering upgrades for real money. They are two different game genres, one is an RPG which is based around skills, and training, and time. Where in if you were able to just use real money to buy gold from Jagex, you'd be able to get an unfair advantage over others because of that. You'd only be limited by how much cash you have in real life. In the RTS they've designed, buying items with real cash does not give you an unfair advantage over other players. It's balanced. If RWT were to exist in RuneScape, it's extremely unbalanced. If you think the economy is bad now, imagine if they allowed RWT? Prices would be insanely high because there'd be so much excess gold in the economy. Prices would be so high to the point that if you don't buy gold, you probably wouldn't be able to start playing the game at all, due to the fact that most money making methods are out of reach to new players.

With the release of the new quest today "Blood Runs Deep," they released a new monster in the new area of Waterbirth Isle, called the Dagannoth Guardian: Name: Dagannoth Guardian Race: Animal Level: 148 Hits: 211 Ratio: 1.42 Aggressive? Yes Retreats? No Quest? No Members? Yes Poisonous? No Habitat: Waterbirth Isle Gold: - Coins 429 - 1134 100%: Big Bones Weapon: - Armour: - Runes/Arrows: - Iron Arrow(p) (14 -17), Steel Arrow (12 - 33), Water Rune (13-25) Misc: - All Herbs, Keg of Beer, Swordfish (1), Super Attack (3), Pure Essence (3-7), Super Restore (1), Super Defence (3), Uncut Gems Seeds: - All Herb Seeds Notes: "The Dagannoth Mother's Guardians." This monster uses only melee attacks and are very, very weak. Their max hit is 9 and it doesn't hit very often. It has low defense. The axe "Balmung" awarded from the quest "Blood Runs Deep," is EXTREMELY effective against killing these.
