  1. I don't think they're supposed to be tips on how to play the game, just neat little pieces of trivia you might not have known. I always enjoy them.
  2. I read every one, because it only takes a few minutes out of my day and I enjoy seeing others' perspectives on the game. RuneScape is so vast that there are quite a few ways to enjoy the game, and there are many I haven't thought of or considered well. My only issue with the articles is when they are badly written, such as with run-on sentences, poorly organized presentation, etc. I had to stop reading at least once because the article was so badly written I had to struggle to make any sense out of it. I think some of them need to be edited more stringently or at least go through some kind of readability pass/fail test. EDIT: I should add that I never had this problem before the regular author left. It was only after more writers were introduced into the mix that the writing quality began to noticeably degrade.
  3. I know the white Java box problem has supposedly been fixed, but I still get it every time I try to load up RuneScape with the add-on enabled. I can disable it, restart, enable, and restart again, and this fixes it temporarily, but I have to go through this every time. I have version 1.3 -- I even uninstalled and reinstalled to be sure. I use Firefox 3 (and Windows XP, if that's important). Any ideas? :-\
  4. Tip.it is my absolute favorite RS help site -- I always use it if I can. That said, I also chose option 2 for those rare occasions when tip.it doesn't help. Normally this is if I need to look up an NPC in another site's database. I also go to Sal's Realm occasionally for alternate strategies and their excellent location guides. However, 95% of the time I am here at tip.it. And I love the verbose style of the quest guides, myself. I feel that shortening them to a step-by-step would lessen them somehow.
  5. Wow, the results right now are so... balanced! (25% Saradomin, 26% Zamorak, and 28% Guthix) I guess that means Guthix is really winning. ;-)
