Okay, my prayer bonus would only be +7 with that set up, so i'm considering just taking the whole caves on with ranged, and subsitituting the guthans skirt with veracs and perhaps the helmet too, for that extra prayer bonus. So do you think then, I would have enough of a prayer bonus, to succeed with 16 super restores? ( this is how many I could take if I used 2 ranging potions, 2 sharks, 8 brews then the rest super restores ). Another thought of mines though was to use a crossbow, however this would mean subsitituting my trimmed cape for an ava's accumulator and my god book would only be guthix, as that is the one I chose in earlier stages and I do not wish to fill up a second. Perhaps using mithril bolts with some sort of enchant( emerald? )? Or would ruby ( e) be good Vs jad? ( drains 20% of your opponents hp but also drains 10% of yours ).

I have ahd about 50 mime events, same with camo, lederhosen ect. Once you have them they're a pain and seem to pop up more.

I'm considering trying it later with the following stats; 70 attack, 60 strength, 70 defence, 70 ranged, 74 magic, 69+ hp ( most likely 72 or 73 ) 48+ prayer ( most likely 50+ ). Using as my starting gear; Guthans Spear, helmet, skirt, Platebody. Amulet of glory, dragon boots, Combat bracelet/ [bleep]ed black dragon hide vambraces ( can't decide here ) 4k bolt racks ( perhaps 5k? not too sure here )and in my ring slot a recoil ( may strecth to a warrior, but I'm not sure if it's really worth it ). In my inventory I planned to bring ; karils Crossbow, karils top ( i'm sure the extra range bonuses here would really help Vs Jad and the 360's ), 2 ranging potions, 2 sharks ( not sure about these, i've been told it's very useful to have these in an emergency, which surely on my first go i'll run into ) 8 Saradomin brews ( not sure if this is too many? ) The rest filled with Super restore potions. Before I go in ; I'll first of all saradomin brew, for the surplus HP levels, then use one dose of super restore, then use a super set and a ranging potion, just for those extra stat bonuses! The plan would really be to use guthans for a while, but as the stronger enemies come into play, switch to ranged ( this is why I'm preparing to bring a high amount of bolt racks ) and go on from there, using the guide. Not sure if my melle stats are really up to using guthans too far into the cave, but i'm sure at the start it could be handy and save myself a few doses of potions. Anyway, just wondering if I could have any advice, my main concern would be running out of prayer, as my ranged level would most likely mean it could take a bit longer than usual. So wondering wether it's worth me perhaps getting some extra prayer bonuses instead of defensive/offensive pieces of equipments. Anyway thanks in advance for any other information that I may be given. Also i'd like to point out I do not own barrows gloves, so don't bother suggesting them, also, i'm not willing to sell any of my 'valueable items' to buy a fury, as I promised my friend I would keep them forever when he quit, for if he ever came back. - Zillis

Fire cape Beat the fight caves Got 5k ess off a mate to make into nats so each attempt only costs 350k, which isn't that bad, people over exagerate when they say they spend 3 million plus a trip.

Yes telling me it will be hard because i'm doing it at a low level really helps. :D ( like I didn't know that already ) I am not exactly lashing out, merely stating my view, you're another arrogant prat, who sees everything his way and if anybody else does it it's them being angry but if it's you doing something it's the others fault. :D I do not need to flame, or spam ( like you ) to feel "dominance", I couldn't care less, it's a bloody game kid, which frankly, I like to try make slightly more difficult than it is, as everybody seriously fails to even click fast, ect. My only real "goal" as such, would be a fire cape. It's the one thing I want to achieve, and know for definite I would like to achieve. Currently slaying and hoping to go semi-far with it, so I'm hoping for a decent slayer and a bit higher combat, however not any actual goals on this front. Basically, the higher the better. Which also reminded me i'd like to get my herblore from 34-38 as another small goal to make prayer potions from my rannar drops to use whilst defeating some monsters in slayer. - ZIllis

In most games, I find them entertaining, in RUnescape, the way it's done, makes it boring, lame and frustrating. Especially when they talk and it takes them 2 minutes to say 20 words.

Oh well money certainly isn't a issue. In my opinion, 70 range seems fine, and my prayer seems fine too, considering people can beat it with 43 prayer and alot, lot, lower ranged level. I would like tips and hints more than other types of criticism. to the first guy who posted, ok, i'll use a combat bracelet instead, thanks. I, unlike most players, actually have SKILL when I play, not simply the ability to play for hours to get high levels. ;) Oh well i'll do it without help as you guys are clearly only negative and see your own failures as the root to others failing too, but not everybody is unskilled.

Well I aim for around these stats when I attempt Attack - 70 Strength - 60 Defence - 70 Ranged - 70 Magic - 74 Prayer - 48+ ( depends on what level I get to whilst training ) Hitpoints - 69+ ( depends on what level I get to whilst training ) Anyway I plan to start off wearing the following Helmet - Guthans helmet Torso - Guthans plate Legs - Guthans skirt Weapon - Guthans spear Cape - Woodcutting (t) ( for prayer bonus ) Boots - Dragon Gloves - Black dragonhide vambs Amulet - Glory Arrows slot - 4k bolt racks In inventory :Karils Cross bow, Karils top, 2 X ranging potions, 2 X sharks,10 saradomin brews and 12 X super restore. I was thinking of potting up before the start for a bit extra hp, strength, attack and defence and then starting off using guthans vs weaker monsters, to save saradomin brews and bolt racks, perhaps a combination of guthans/ranging infact as some monsters seem to be safer just to range. Higher up i'd start using ranging potions and using my karills crossbow. ANYWAY WHERE YOU COME IN IS ADDING ME ANY IDEAS OR OTHER STRATEGIES I COULD USE TO ATTEMPT THE CAVES AS I HAVE MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, ALL HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED!

To me, farming, because it's slow? Hell no! I just dislike it! More than any other skill by far!

Also I noticed this at fire giants, the giants were non-agressive to me, but attacked a fellow giant tamer! I was ranging it, hurting it, yet it was still able to hit him! He then died as he was not aware it was him being attacked as he thought it was impossible! Lucky I returned his stuff being such a nice chap, but it's rather frustrating as another time somebody stole the giant of me as it was hitting him he got priority!
