Great guide, very in-depth :thumbsup: I just have one question, though : Are Spectral, Arcane, Elysian and Divine Spirit Shields made from attaching a sigil to a regular spirit shield or to a blessed spirit shield? In your guide, it's written that they are made from a regular spirit shield, but I've always thought it was from a blessed one.

I did a banner for the guide :. I didn't know how to do renders, so I took an easy background to work with on paint, but then when I pasted the images they came in a black background. I found it quite cool so I kept it :lol:.

I, and by that I mean my very own person, believe that having a weapon with that many abilities is overpowered. You have no right to assume I didn't read the posts, because I did.

You can melee her if you use spirit terrorbird. However, if she starts attacking you,, you will have to face a few of her attacks (1-3, depending on how fast you start running). It is not very hard to do so, but I suggest bringing many methods of healing since it can cost you some hitpoints. On the other side, your range level isn't that bad. You could train it to 80+ and use it very efficiently at saradomin dungeon. I might add a melee section to the sara gwd guide, since I often use melee myself and it can be still very good.

You aren't even using any real argument to defend your point, so I don't see why I would keep arguing with you. The last thing I'll say to you is to actually really try and test it instead of just doing hypotesis. If you don't have anything to defend your point, stop posting, or I'll just stop bothering to answer you. P.S. : The fact that I stop responding doesn't mean you are right in any point.

I have pertinent reasons to say that their defence is negligeable. I know both from theory and a lot of practice, and the results are surprising. You'd even be surprised how close of a chicken's their defences can be (exclusing some of them, like dragons). As I said before, all my tasks with obsidian weapons are done more easily than with dragon scimitar. The ss has a lot of disadvantages, and most people don't use it for slayer. -It is very costly, and people use it mostly for power-training strength, then sell it back. -It is 2-handed, so it causes less damage (not a lot less, but still) than the obsidian sword with berserker necklace, so cost-wise and damage-wise, obsidian weapons are more advisable on low-defence monsters when you have a high attack level. The ss also removes you the advantages of the shield slot, whih is quite important for high-hitting monsters. -It is 2-handed, making it impossible to use it efficiently against any dragon-kind task.

Very nice suggestion, I approve. However... The orifice of guthix has 2 things wrong with it : 1-Its name sounds weird 2-It's quite overpowered. I still like a lot the idea to make a ''grandmaster'' achievement diary.

In answer ot your post : I would like you to take in consideration that since these monsters have very low defence (most of them), the lower accuracy of the obsidian weapons is absolutely negligeable, and those with higher defence have a weakness to the stab-type damage. The obsidian split-sword, combined with the berserker necklace, has a higher maximum hit than a dragon scimitar with a fury amulet together. I know very well, from both theory and practice, that I finish my slayer tasks in a shorter time with the obsidian split-sword. Of course, it is not true for some people with low attack. That is why I suggest having a decent attack level for using obsidian weapons instead of dragon ones (considering you have the ability/money/skills to wield both, if not, dragon weapons aren't even an option), otherwise it doesn't really make more ''damage per hour''. P.S. : I am very certain to have recieved many infernal mage tasks from Duradel/Lapalok. Edit : Most people don't use prayer pots on their common slayer assignments.

I think jagex should release more new in-game content combining two skills or more together (for example, a flame-wall that damages anyone who crosses it spell, requiring a certain firemaking level and magic level). There are hundreds of possibilities, and I think there could be very interesting ones.

Added some of my own screenshots of me doing slayer :. I had one of Dust devils, but when I pasted it into paint the colors went weird :?. Anybody knows what's the cause of that and/or any solution?

I believe that there -could- be a predetermined ratio of drops per amount of kills, but that that ratio would be on all the servers at the same time, with all the monsters at the same time. For example, if Bandos tassets drop from general graardor every 150 kills, after 149 kills all the servers make together, the next monster spawn will hold bandos tassets. It is random since nobody can predict it. That is just a hypotesis, althought.

Thanks for your post. The old triangulation method doesnt work anymore on zilyana, so I will check to see if there are still abiguities about that in the text. It is true I forgot to write it somewhere, and I will do it now. Please take in consideration that the levels I suggest are and will always be suggestions. It is clearly stated that you can do it at a lower level, and in my own opinion, I believe these are good stats to solo her, since she is very hard to kill, even if some players under these requirements can solo her.

I don't think void stacks with berserker necklace. I checked on the max hit calculator and it seems to have a lower max damage with the void set than with simply nothing instead of void :? Maybe it's just the max hit calculator that is wrong, but I'll have to check that.

No, it only works with melee weapons, thus only those four ones.

Still, some people can't do the quest, and some musn't, like some kinds of pures (Xp rewards).

Let's not argue more...It is true that some weapons can overcome obsidian ones in some domains, but obsidian weapons along with berserker necklace still are useful for plenty of situations (Strength pures, slaying, strength training without possibility/desire to buy ss, etc.) and for all people that don't have the required quests finished or anything like that.
