See, my mom wouldn't care and would take me seriously if I said it was for monthly issues because that's why she got on it when she was 16. Her mom died when she was 10 though so she ha to go through Planned Parenthood for hers and didn't have the option of asking mom.

My mom's friend asked if my mom wa getting me on birth control soon. They both then laughed. I didn't react in the predictable cranky way though, I said I didn't care. In reality, it'd just make things easier and I wouldn't ever have to come to mom for such a thing. Plus, it lessens monthly female things.
