  15. We did our alternative event for three years. 2010 was best through, we had like 15 people hanging out in this guy's fun basement which has an awesome random Christmas mural painted on one wall. Plus, I had my bestestest friend there with my school friends, my school friends are so good at making fun of people and I had a blast listening to them pick on a complete stranger. This year did feature the guy's cat eating chips though, that was random and exciting
  16. Yes, we played that game during our Alternative Sno-Daze Event 2010. aka, my group of friends didn't go to the school dance and instead ate at HuHot, played hide and seek at Herberger's, loitered more at the mall, had a street race, played Just Dance and Mario Kart for Wii, played Apples to Apples, and chilled. Because we're cool like that.
  17. THIS IS THE FREQUENTLY REFERRED TO CARLOS

  19. Yeah, the neighborhood here has evolved over the years, flowing nicely with how the kids who have always been here are growing up. The summer before sixth grade for me, the summer I turned 11, two new families moved in, the families of the two girls I referred to before. At the time, I was neighborhood friends with a girl one year younger than me, and we welcomed in the two new girls. Eventually the girl I'd been friends with was pretty much pushed out of the group, the youngest new girl moved, the pushed out girl moved, and now it's two of us. The weird thing was, both the new girls were only around for most of the summer and then the weekends. I remember the anticipation I felt every Friday afternoon, waiting for one of them to show up, who first, who was hosting a sleepover, blah blah blah, and then the way we'd all make the most of Sunday afternoons before they left. Saw so many movies. I'm too sentimental.
  20. Indeed. There was probably more fun in creating the plan than there would have been in executing it.
  21. Still sad you didn't get to go to the door naked
  22. I wasn't the go-between when both the girls decided to randomly dislike me. All of my memories from that period of time are weird. Literally, I remember every weekend being cloudy and rainy. My memory is hilarious with its cute symbolism/tone effects. Now, I'm bestestest friends with the older of the two girls, her family still lives across the street, and I never get to see the other one (she moved) but her mom and my mom are bestestest friends.
  23. I LOVE THE HANGOVER I own it. And I've seen it a bajillion times. And I have "what do tigers dream of?" on my iPod.
  24. I was always the go-between when friends would be arguing within the little neighborhood group. Yeah maybe they were just calling me fat by making me walk across the street and up the block a million times to deliver their little messages. Oh how different times were. Actually, they wouldn't have been calling me fat because at the time, I was the tallest of us three girls in that group and we all weighed 115 lbs. Again, oh how different times were. BTW I got another page in case you guys didn't notice
