in the pure world mm/mayhem makers for over 3 years had a perfect war record against -many- clans, f2p and p2p wars. dominated p2p and f2p on every pk trip, which was almost daily. also has the best stats and individual pkers p2p and f2p of any pure clan, however fi/fatality within the past 6 months have won every f2p war and run in, havent lost a single one. they dont p2p and their individual pkers/stats arent fabulous but theyre certainly unstoppable right now in f2p. rs id have to say sabres rs2 di, if you say ds or anyone else for that matter youre biased. di has always been and still is the standard for p2p main clans

when pking with a clan or small group in higher wildy stats dont matter very much at all actually...the higher the better. however, it affects you immensely as individual pure pker in low wild. for example, if youre an 85 combat pure with 83 99 1 and 52 prayer pking edgeville, youre going to be at a disadvantage verses almost any 45 def pker, 70 def meleer, or tank you meet. it gets progressively worse the higher combat you get, especially if you get 20 defense or smite. honestly pures are pretty much obsolete...by far the strongest tool a pure has is barrage, and in todays overly-nh low wild its sometimes impossible to abuse properly. even at 65 combat, you often get 1 kill to 5 deaths if youre good. the nice part of that is you usually still end up profiting, due to top of the line pure gear being little to no cost. if you die a few times and lose lose 30 barrages and a dds each time, and then get a whip or barrows kill (or even a rune kill tbh) youre in the money. pures are still really strong in f2p, though

i understand most people that currently read tip.it are skillers or pure-haters. i sympathize though, overall the pure community is much less mature. regardless i prefer it to the defense clan community these days...mainly because of the incredible forum community of 'mayhem makers' pures currently are the underdogs in the pking world, 45 defense pkers, tanks, and 70 def meleers are far superior in edge, drags, and portals alike once you get past 70 combat. as such, 20 defense pkers, whip pures, and pretty much any pure over 44 prayer is at a disadvantage simply because of their higher combat, and the most successful 1v1 p2p pures have 1 defense, barrage, 1-31-or-44 prayer, and are either range based or have 60 attack. blood_anthem-wannabe 50 attack pures are also inefficient in todays pking world. although pest control FINALLY got nerfed, thank god, the pure world is still full of pc pruds and generally less mature people. this makes the overall community pretty lame in comparison to high level clans however, once you meet the right people and get involved with the right pure clan, most people with testify that they would rather (and often do) quit rs then go back to any defense clan, go clanless, or anything besides exist in their current pure community. at least 75% of pures who get kicked or become unpure in any way make a new pure or quit runescape entirely. although pure wars are generally lame, daily p2p and f2p, drags and portals, small group and large group pk trips in the pure community are the driving force and arguably the most fun you could ever have in rs, ever. quick, cost efficient, and suprisingly skill based run ins free of returning, teleing, and brews (etc.etc.) make the pure clan pking experience, p2p or f2p, an awesome experience. these run ins, often up to 250 opts on either side, are filled with skilled barragers, master rangers, and more 99 strength pures then you can count without using your fingers. this is why the pure world is worth discussing, here are a few examples of truly great pure clans: mm/mayhem makers: p2p based - the oldest pure clan, going on 4 years. founded by i_mahatma_i and dabestpk (who is long gone) and made up of -by far- the most legendary and smart pkers of their time, past and present. boasts the highest magic, range, strength, attack, and hp averages (etc) of all pure clans and has by far the most active and large forum community, surpassing even di's (and tip.its). undefeated in wars for almost 3 years until recently, but still at the top of their game overall. mm has the best solo pkers, p2p and f2p, and imo is the strongest p2p pure force out there. represented by pink foe/final ownage elite: p2p based - the second oldest pure clan, over 2 years old. founded by ilx_ace_ilx and bonesaw_pk, and currently easily tied with mm as the strongest p2p clan, pertaining to wars, large and small scale pk run ins, and individual pkers. boasts the second highest stat averages and pulls better opts often the mm or anyone else for that matter, and particularly good at f2p warring. represented by white hats and blue capes tlp/the last pures: the only other p2p based pure clan - the 3rd oldest clan tied with fi, founded by hiei_the_pk and that noob finnald who no one likes. they hit a bit of a rough patch a while ago but were certainly never weak even during this time, and they are now recovering big time. arguably full of better individual p2p pkers then foe, they present very impressive stat averages and do beat both mm and foe in p2p fairly regularly. represented by blue fi/fatality: f2p based - about the same age as tlp, 1 1/2 years or so. for a year now unarguably the strongest f2p pure force, undefeated in any f2p war or run in for almost a year now (getting close). founded by 3_hit_u_pure and beezlebub_pk. great clan overall filled with excellent f2p pkers. represented by green eop/eruption of pures: f2p based - a semi-newer clan, definitely top 3 in f2p. recently lost a war big time to fi and lost many members in the process, sadly. they win most of their f2p run ins by pulling ridiculous opts, but its no substitute for their experience and fierceness. represented by red other decent clans: -th/the hatred -cp/corrupt pures -aao/against all odds -ep/epidemic -up/untamed pures -ir/intense redemption -t/trilogy and several others here are my current personal rankings, which are accurate and reflect the majority of intelligent unbiased people in the community P2P: 1. MM/FOE 2. " 3. TLP -gap- 4. FI 5. no one else p2p pks F2P: 1. FI -gap- 2. MM 3. EOP -gap- 4. FOE/TH 5. I was in the emerald dragons from its first few weeks, and i had over 5k posts. We were a -very- strong clan, for the year we'd been around. What ian (im4eversmart) and jen (corrupt moral) did, was wrong. The clan founder and leader's name was reason (Ace G33k), ian was a rhq global mod and the clan webmaster, while jen was the -co-leader. they betrayed reason and over half the clans wishes by splitting the clan in two and taking control over the half that sided with rune hq's new clan. emerald dragons was an active, honorable, pking beast, for the year wed been around wed made allies with the prestigious clans brotherhood of the gods, and tha outlaws, and won 2 official wars against experienced clans. What ian and jen transformed the clan into was just an extension of the forums that simply took place partially in game, they never pked or warred and was simply a clan available for the low level players of rs, mostly who relied on rune hq's knowledge because they were so inexperienced, they eventually made it open to any level. the fact of the matter is, they are no clan, just an extension of rune hq forums, and the person you interviewed (who ive never heard of in my entire career) is ignorant to the entire situation and the interview is totally propaganda to the informed reader. Edit: I just read their history, and there was two false statements, for one, ian (im4eversmart) was -never- leader of ed, he was just a webmaster, and reason (Ace G33k) never got power hungry! the co-leader, jen (corruptmoral) was simply a bad leader with her own independent thoughts to base the clan entirely on skilling (with the occasional war against one of their allies, as long as it was only iron -.-), and she took control of the newer and weaker members, and the inactive skilling members, and made -them- into torc, all the true members, ace g33k, torey0, patbag92, alrikthemad, pronetdnow99, netscape101, to name the most prominent, stayed with ed, which eventually became inactive due to its huge loss. thanks but the font is too plain, theres no border around it, and ill probably wait to see if anyone waits to make a sig and match an avy to it. im not looking to buy a 15 minute sig, take your time.

im buying a simple signature, we can work out a price after you make it (100-250 maybe) i dont want a pixel, tech border, or brush backround. id prefer a rectangular sig that says walleyeguy7 + an avatar that says ted on it . a nature backround, or a backround of a peaceful night would be great if you need an idea, and real life pictures of lakes, forests and junk like that are cool, nothing too bad ass and nothing runescape related. i like the colors green, black, and blue alot. dont forget to put on your thinking cap.
