  1. Hi all. I'm retired from P2P and am bored with F2P, but I don't just want to quit. So I thought of starting merching. I have 7.5m after selling members items just sitting there, nearly asking to be spent! The only thing is that I have no idea how to start merching. I've read around and seen that you need to watch the graphs closely, but I'm not really that good at noticing the patterns and even what items to look at! Could anyone give me some tips - or at least a link to a recent guide (I can only find really old ones)? I'm not asking for what items to merch on ATM, just what kinds of items to try with, and how to slowly work yourself into it with the money I currently have. Thanks, I hope anyone can help :)
  2. Ah, I get it now. Thanks a lot! And it's a bit late to sell Barrow's now :P Although I'm defo not going back to members for a long time so it doesn't matter too much. The money will be useful.
  3. So I should just sell any members items I have (Barrows etc), keep the ones I can't sell (charms etc), and just collect together doubles of every F2P item that I might need?
  4. BUMP. Another question - do I HAVE to have only 68 different items in my bank? I've seen people having placeholders for every different F2P item - can someone explain this for me? Thanks again
  5. Hi all. Decided to quit P2P, and I remember there being a guide on here somewhere about how to prepare for moving back. But this was ages ago, and I can't find it. Could anyone tell me the title of it, if they can remember? Before you flame me for not using the search function, I don't know the title of it, and I'm also looking through the general guides section for it. Thanks
  6. Went to mage arena wearing those white/gold mage robes. Strangely, someone killed me for them.
  7. Hi everyone. I quit RS just after the Runecrafting minigame came out, and am now thinking of returning. Have any new features been added? My skills aren't great (melee skills around 70-75) and don't have massive amounts of money (in fact, i'm very poor!) so could you go into a bit more detail about new things that fit into that bracket? Thanks everyone.
  8. If I have items I want to keep, then i'll try my best to keep them, simple as. People who whinge about teleporters are just sore that they lost their chance. In real life you don't stay there if you're going to get killed - you run away. Simple as.
  9. Looks like its Sumona then! Thanks everyone - finishing this harpie bug task (yawn) then off to do the quest :
  10. Wow quick replies, thanks! Anyone else?
  11. Hi everyone. Was just wondering what is the best slayer master to use for my level. I'm using Chaeldar at the moment but I think the exp is really bad. Should I take a step up to Sumona? My skills are: Combat 94 Attack 71 Strength 70 Defence 73 Prayer 60 Mage 70 Range 53 Summoning 41 Slayer 57 I mainly slay to make money and raise my combat stats, so I'd like replies that think about prayer potions and profit etc. Thanks in advance guys and gals.
  12. I'm making one at the moment and getting it to 60 mage. You then have an extremely low level character that can hit 16. I was thinking of giving it some range levels and making it a hybrid, but I DESPISE range so am largely against this. Would getting 20 def make too large of an impact on the combat level of my char?
  13. No need being rude to him, he's new. Welcome to the forums mate. And no, you only get slayer exp if the monster is your assigned slayer task.
  14. Ok then, that's an option. Any others?
  15. I mean when I'm going to pick up the drops/running to safespot
  16. I'm there at gnomecopters training now. Could pick up the beef as well I suppose, not sure how well it would sell though. I just want my money to last a long way - my main is a skiller and the whole reason I made this pure was to get away from doing them. Could do hill giants, but they're aggressive and would kill me so quickly.
  17. Not at level 40. Only way I can think of is checking the unclean and clean prices of all the herbs, and seeing if the clean price of one is higher than the unclean price. Then buy in bulk and clean.
  18. Hi all. I just need to know a decent f2p monster to train my mage pure on. I'm at level 22 at the moment, but losing too much money using jsut cows, and I can 1-hit them with air blast. However, I don't want to make money with skills too much, I want to make money with the drops. So, could you please suggest some f2p monsters that: - Have drops that are worth more than, say, a chaos rune? (not including the bones, I need them for prayer) - Can be safespotted? (Obviously I only have 1 def) - Are non-aggressive (not really needed, but I don't wanna be ko'd when I'm getting the drops!) - Close-ish to a bank - And are fun to kill! Thanks everyone, hope you can all help.
  19. Buyable skills are harder than everyone thinks. People still have to earn the money they use to raise it. Unless they have a partyhat or a rare that they sell, its very difficult to get all the money needed.
  20. Use this to profit from smithing. For the others I have no idea whatsoever. I'll be learning from this thread too.
  21. Yaks. They never hit, the quest is easy and there is a bank nearby to restock on food if you're that bad that you need more. Use a rune scimmy, then as soon as you hit 60 do lost city and get yourself both a dragon longsword and dds.
  22. Gauntlets don't degrade unless you die with them on or in your inventory. They then go into a 'broken' form. They also need to be in this form to trade them. Shield and all other items do degrade as you use them. You need to use FoG tokens to recharge them.
