i worded that very poorly, what i meant was they only ways to get that rich is: being there when dropped merchanting staking a normal player has no chance of getting that rich.

i have a few questions about them.. where do you get them, how much are they worth im a pure so how much defence do they quests give.. how long will they take to get

i think its a safe assumption to say that runescape is bigger then jagex can handel.

i totally agree with you! all random events do is slow autoers down and mess things up for 99% of the players. they dont even stop them! they have code that gets right by the randoms! there usless. there is more of a microer problem now then in classic and in classic there where for the most part no randoms unless you count fatigue. and dont even get me started on the chat system!! runescape is honestly becoming the joke of the mmorpg world

i was thinking about this and back in the day there where people with 20+ party hats and that was somewhat normal for a good staker. now a days having more then one is rare even for a good staker. i would guess there where about 10000 dropped originally i would guess about 3000 where created on the infamous dupe day. thats around 13000 give or take a few thousand. now over the last 5 years at least half have been banned away, lost or sit in an inactive account somewhere. so there are some ware around 7000 party hats left for around 5mill 2million players. i could and probably am wrong on my estimates. so what do you guys think.. P.S what do you think is the greatest amount owned by one player.

in rsc on my old account kingloranger i was top 100 miner and top 500 smithing

i started about a week after tutorial island was release. i was only 12 at the and i do consider myself an oldschool player. my first day consisted of me chopping wood. i cut down full inventories full of logs and sold them for like 1 or 2 gp each and i though i can keep doing this and get rich. then i found out after a while you stop getting money for them. then i started mining and smithing like a madman and within a week was 41 mining and like 32 smithing. i kept going with that until i had a decent amout of money.

good point, the autoers may be contributing to the problem but there probably only about 25-35 percent of the problems. its hard to blame jagex for this problem, they are game programmers with a real world economic problem that they know nothing about. when this game was created it was NOT designed for this type of economy and considering the problems are with the original skills its near impossible for them to fix at this point. they basically have to devise a HUGE money drain or just let the game do its thing ** on response to the 3 seconds argument, fishing spots move and banks are usually farther about from fishing spots then trees**

i was reading gin and tonix post about pest control \i thought pest control was good for people trying to get high hps i never relised it game no HP exp.. if thats true why to so man dualers/pkers use it to train there charaters

hmm . in order of hours played 1: socom 2 2: halo 2 3: civ 3

if you dont want to pest control (probably the fastest way to 80 str) i would suggest any type of high level giants. fire giants in the waterfall are a good place to start..

im monkey madness can you choose to only get hp experience or do you have to get strength exp aswell

what quests give exp to any skill or to hit points. i'm making a staker and need as much hit point exp as possible

i have 60 attack on my staker.. i dont know if i should get a long or a scrimmy.. im going to be getting 70 attack with it and then not using it anymore so should i just get long because its an easier quest?

i probly will.. i dont have the money know to get a decent mage level.. but i plan to get a high mage level with my winnings **knocks on wood** and thats for the support guys.
