  1. I didn't see the big urns outside of the digsite. It should state not the two urns in front of the digsite but going up the ladder back to the exam center etc etc. But I did find it thanks ~ Steven
  2. They're valuable to some people because they have high magic bonus. However in my opinion, I prefer mystic battlestaves because it allows me to spend a lot less on runes (especially if you have lava and/or mud staff). Lava can be bought easily for 50k, or is a drop from infernal mage (lvl 45 slayer required) while mud was 1.3m last time i checked. So in my opinion I wouldn't go for any of the wands, but the mage book is good if you don't plan on using a shield. ~ Steven
  3. I really don't want to sound stupid because the quest seems so easy but the guide says to look at the bushes by the urn or the bushes on the right side. I've searched the two by the urns at least 25 times each and made three passes over the huge group of bushes on the right and I still can't find the teddy bear. I've also searched sacks and specimen trays just in case the place has changed and I still can't find it. Does anybody know where else it might be? Oh and yes I have talked to the student that asks for the teddy bear ~ Steven
  4. The Infinity outfit is definitely expensive if you buy it from another player but if you spend the money on runes and do the mage training game it's a lot cheaper (though still not cheap). I'm planning on leveling mage up anyways so I'm going to go for at least two parts of the infinity, then probably settle with mystic for the rest. Just make sure you don't wear it to the wild. You will be an instant target. ~ Steven
  5. Nobody said it but just to let you know, you can even leave the coal there for weeks and weeks (apparently I signed off before unloading my cart and when I went to fill it up realized that it was still full). Not sure that it matters but I know some things (like in Mage training) you lose coins and such if you log out or lag out. In this case there is nothing to worry about at all. Also, if you don't want to tele you can use an agility shortcut to the east that takes you back and forth quicker. ~ Steven
  6. I was able to do it rather easily. I guess I get too worried about things. But thanks for the confidence guys! ~ Steven
  7. Edit: Sorry I meant to post this in Quest, Minigame Help so can a mod please move it. Thank you - done McGuff1 I really want to do Shilo Village so I have access to the Gem rocks, but in the guide they make it seem really hard so I'm afraid at the moment to try it. I was wondering if anyone around my level has done it or if anybody has advice. My stats are as following: CB: 70 Attack: 61 Strength:54 (almost 55) Defence: 54 Prayer:43 Hitpoints: 57 Range:40 Mage: 53 (or 54 I cant remember off the top of my head, either way I'd be using chaos spells if I do mage) 43 prayer should help me but with the monsters at lvl 93 and 91 (I'm not worried really about 68 skeleton) I'm not sure if I can do it without dying. The ghost in Haunted Mine is only a 95 but he still killed me (thanks to lag preventing me to eat but it would of been close either way) Thanks ~ Steven
  8. Part of it's just how lucky you are and where you run. Honestly, have no more than 3 items (excluding food of course) and try to stay as light as possible. But I do believe you can do it if you plan where you run carefully. Good luck ~ Steven
  9. I was always under the impression that only the recharge price dropped until it finally leveled out... and I'm almost positive that's the case. I could be wrong but I believe it will never go down. ~ Steven
  10. While doing Temple Trekking you can get the various parts of a Lumberjack outfit. If you have the complete set (you must get on your own, it's not tradeable) then it will give a small bonus of XP each time you cut down a tree while wearing. From what I hear, most people feel it's not worth it but it's really up to you to decide, I haven't gone for it yet. Any questions on Temple Trekking be sure to check out Tip It's guide Temple Trekking Guide ~ Steven
  11. Isn't that the random where he has you put the coffins in the right spot? If so, all you have to do is take up all the coffins (or a few at a time) and then look at a tombstone. It will show the icon for one of the skills (such as farming being a water bucket or mining being a pickaxe). You then search the coffin to see whats in it to identify what that person did (such as if you see a pickaxe he's obviously a miner). I should of taken pictures because I've done it so many times... (full zombie and emotes) ~ Steven
  12. That's actually not true. I have yet to do observatory quest and have done many treasure trails. All you need is a clue scroll and then go over to observatory. He will then instruct you on where to get all the items. After you get the originals you can make sextants and watches on a crafting table (level 4 i believe) ~ Steven
  13. Obviously at level 20 you can finally steal from silk stalls, which is of course what everybody recommends. But every place I went I was only successful half of the time, at best 3 of every 4. But after much frustration I found the perfect place that you will NEVER get caught. In Ardougne there are two silk stalls, one with a salesman and one without. You of course want to go to the one without. But you can't just stand anywhere, you have to be behind the stall. (picture) You can continuously steal right in front of the Hero and he will NEVER stop you (he doesn't care about silk) and the guards are always in the middle will NEVER see you. Now after going from 20-30 without ever being caught, I saw a small loophole where I could get caught. Knights of Ardougne and sometimes guards come out of the house right behind. So what to do? Simple. Make sure the doors closed, that's all it is to it. I have honestly gone from level 22 to 38 with this and have only been caught the one time (and now knowing to close the door, you should never be caught). I know it's a really small guide and for only a small fraction of players, but I hope it helps someone out. ~ Steven
  14. I've seen one so far, but I haven't seen any for sale. How much are they going for? And the fact that it deals underwater damage means a new quest is coming... ~ Steven
  15. I think what they said is right, it's probably like when you lag out (or internet goes out, basically the same thing). General rule of thumb, any monster you use food on to kill and it happens, you're probably dead. Many times I had food and everything and could of beaten the monster (or at least used a prayer to keep another item) and died. If only there was a way for it to finish the fight like an average person would (using prayers, eaten food etc) ~ Steven
  16. I was a lot like you. The first thing I did when I became a member was search for clue scrolls. It took me about 2 hours to get my first one, but there have been times I've spent 7 hours in one day and not had one. And they really are fun but.. I wouldn't become a member just for it. After you do so many you get bored, and if you're like me and get a bad reward (such as an addy full helm and 10 lobbys with a six clue clue scroll), you'll want to do something else. Try a membership for a month and you'll be dragged into all the other things you can do. It's definitely worth starting out with clue scrolls though. ~ Steven
