LOL, Bullets are the cause... So of course we blame a popular shooter video game. Who knows, maybe he played Call of Duty 4 where Zachiev's son kills himself... It'd be fine now the "Ever caught them?" thread is gone. Videogames are a scapegoat for crime and stupidity because the majority of adults don't understand them. Once our generation becomes older this will probably stop. haha, yes. That is the stupidest smart [wagon] reply I've seen to date as you read his post completely out of context. What he meant is he'll show this to his gun owning child and make sure they're aware of what can happen if you try to re-enact dangerous things / play with a gun you think is safe, as in reality no gun is safe. They're designed for one purpose, to take away life from the thing they're aimed at. A gun with no magazine might look ok to go "pew! pew! pewpewpew!!" with but many people forget there is often a bullet waiting in the chamber for someone to pull the trigger on unawarely and for [cabbage] to happen. And thats why before I fire a paintball, I shoot downwards a couple time to make sure ntohing is in there.

Who? You. No, the only way you can get mongoose mowdown is in Lone Wolves. I mean really, have you ever played a game that you could actually get a lot of momentum before hitting a guy? All it is is Blarging Snowbound, Blarging Epitaph, and Blarging The Pit. #-o If there was even a mongoose in that, you couldn't get enough momentum to kill someonw.

Exactly Yep, people tend to blame what they don't care about. Hence the parents blaming the video game, and everyone in this thread blaming the parents/the gun. At 11 I had access to a .22 and even bigger guns, I would have never thought about playing around with one. The main rule of gun safety is never point it at something unless you plan on shooting it, even if you know for a fact the gun is unloaded and the safety is on and your finger isn't on the trigger. So many people never stand by that rule, even if you know it's unloaded, safety on etc as you mentioned there will be a time when it's loaded and they don't treat it right, [cabbage] could happen and someone will be seriously injured :| This time, he had a gun laying in his house, not away from where this kid can reach. When I become a parent, I'll show my kid this topic, and tell him. if you ever do this, I will kill you before the bullet does.

fixed ;) not fixed :shame: Anyways, I was being the kid in this story... Last night, playing team slayer with friends - laughing at some random junk I put into google. (Man shot by cat, Man killed over lightbulb fight, man kills daughter for knocking over his Xbox, etc.) We lost both games we played, but I still had the most kills :D

lol, I know. I mean why shoot yourself in the head? The only way you can commit suicide by what YOu did is an explosion, or a bounceback headshot suicide.
