    Batch 2 is incredibly disappointing compared to batch 1. The only thing worth doing there (to me at least) is the Agility course, Edimmus (and daily maw of course) and the crystal hatchet/pickaxe, which is a one time thing anyway.

     

    Not to mention these god awful comp requirements. They are all [bleep]ing RNG based, why the everloving [bleep] are they forcing a trim playstyle on regular comp cape? Completionist cape is supposed to make sure you have done and achieved all the important stuff in the game, such as quests, tasks, prayers, spells and things like that. How the [bleep] does 200 Agility laps or picking 200 moss seem important enough to be required for Comp cape?

     

    And why do we have to acquire titles? We never had to acquire titles (which are perhaps my single most disliked updates to ever hit Runescape) to get comp cape before.

     

    Jagex, you can [bleep] right off with these requirements. Incredibly disappointing.

    I'm actually really disappointed Fishing wasn't included in the Elf City. It's one of the few skills that desperately needed a new training method. I would have much preferred Seren stones for Fishing, rather than for Mining.

     

    At least for Mining we have LRC and Warbands as very good training methods, whereas the best one for Fishing is c2s, which very few people can stand to do for a long period of time. Apart from that we have rocktails (stupidly slow) and a mediocre method in barb fishing.

    Based on how much of a cluster[bleep] Ghosts was, I'll be waiting until this is released and I see some reviews from actual players.

     

    It already looks pretty bad for PC, as Sledgehammer/Activision have been completely silent all summer regarding PC (And the PS4 for that matter, but the PS4 and Xbox One have basically the same features in-game anyway).

     

    They failed to provide any sort of detail regarding PC specific things, such as field of view, max fps, whether there's a 144hz support, dedicated servers, server browser, all those basic PC things. Hell, they only released the PC specs like a week or 2 before release. It's beyond pathetic. But we have Activision and Microsoft to thank for that, as apparently Activision and Microsoft made some sort of deal where Sledgehammer was only allowed to talk about the Xbox version.

     

    Regardless, I'll be waiting until like a week after release at least before making a decision. This will be the first game I don't play on release day since World at War. It definitely looks promising though.

    Looks like a really solid month. Prifddinas batch two is obviously the best thing there, but treasure trails getting an update as well is something I'm really excited for. I really hope the average loot from clues goes up from 10k/clue to hopefully a couple of hundred k, that'd be perfect. Doing clues is easily one of the things I enjoy the most on RS, but it's such a shame they are worthless at the moment.

     

    Quest also sounds interesting.

     

    I just really hope that new Agility course/method is somewhat AFK (Ideally like pickpocketing elves). Agility is beyond terrible at the moment (as is Fishing, but oh well). I'm hoping for the best anyway.

    So, run around the affected sector, hop, run around, hop etc.?

    Afaik they usually spawn close to the herald cape guy of each sector. So just staying in that area and hopping should be good enough. Doesn't hurt to run around just a bit in case it has wandered.

    Recent trend to include PvM into Comp Cape, i.e. Rush of Blood [Split]

    I'm happy they are actually including PvM in the requirements. Sure, I was pissed off at first, but after a while I sucked it up and simply learned how to do the bosses and had a lot of fun doing so. I never did ROTS before, for example, but now it's one of my favorite bosses to do.

     

    I really hope they don't go back on this decision. It's supposed to be difficult and challenging to get the Completionist cape.
