  1. I honestly thought this update was OK for Runescape. I read everything and thought, "well this should cut down on a lot of problems, and in time, we will all learn to cope with and accept these changes."

But then I saw that it effectively ruins monster hunting. The only part of RS that provides me with endless joy and longing.

I'm sure Jagex will fix this, but it is amazing that they overlooked it in the first place.

This is the first time in my seven years of RS, that I have ever been let down by Jagex.

  2. RuneScape, above all else, is a game where people compete against one another. Surely, with the classist system in which we live in real life, we have that already when it comes to how much real life money we have?

Doing that would remove the idea that the top players are better simply because they're better at playing the game and making money/training skills. Instead, it would become a contest of whoever has more money in real life and, as that article points out, could lead to cases of fraud which would land Jagex itself in trouble for not placing appropriate safeguards.

In short, this should never happen to any game.

I completely agree. While it could possibly cut down the amount of RWT in the game, it would completely destroy what Jagex intended the game to be. They constantly stress that in Runescape, we are all equal, and are offered no advantages over our fellow players. The only advantages we get are what we work for in game.

Bottom line: the bad would far outweigh the good, in my opinion.

  3. I haven't heard of any great skill ideas since Hunter came out. Archeology, Seafaring, Engineering, etc. None of them sound like something I would really want to do, even though I would level them anyway.

Summoning is the only one that has merit, because we know it's coming out sooner or later. I personally don't think it's gonna be a skill, I think it'll be a new spellbook, because really, it has no right being a skill in itself.

  4.

Oh will you guys please stop being so insecure  It's just said so that some kids don't do stupid things and then blame it on Jagex (which 13 year olds are highly capable of doing). Until you're 18, you are not an adult, so suck up your pride and stop with this crap about "I'm mature so I don't want jagex treating me as if I am younger" (it's just to avoid any issues, hey they even took the time to make a joke, let's encourage it). It's really getting annoying. Just ignore the message if it bothers you so much.

And no, the message isn't aimed at 5 year olds, it's aimed at 13 year olds (or even anyone under 18)

Now on topic, I'm not a huge fan of pumpkin treats like these, but it's a neat initiative.

    +1,000

I'm tired of all the whining. I'm 17 years old and technically NOT an adult. Thusly, that message was aimed towards me as well. (Not too mention my cooking level is 2 in real life.)

Give Jagex a break, it was a funny joke to say the least.

And to be on topic, I don't like pumpkin very much, but I would try these if someone wanted to make me some. :-k

  5. Also I'm thinking Tzhaar are a huge refference to Predator of the Alien trilogy, only noone seems to believe it, we'll see when I compare them in a future update once more.

I read one of the books, I think you are completely right! O.o

Wow, I ever caught that before...

  6. You came up with a few great uses for the Zamorak Godsword.

To everyone who has no idea how to use a Saradomin Godsword. It's simple.

    Slayer.

    It could easily replace Guthans.

And it only costs 104m more

    Good point. :wall:

Well, theoretically, it could replace Guthan's.

  7. 7 / 10

I don't mind your non combat stats, because you obviously don't like them much.

I don't mind the fact that you used Pest Control, because like all skills, you have a choice in the way you train. You chose the nonprofitable efficient method. No one can fault you for that.

    So, in conclusion:

    +2 for your Attack level

    +1 for your Strength level

    +3 for your Defense level

    +2 for your Slayer level

    -1 for your Hitpoints level

    My two cents.

  8. Yeah, it's clearly just a superstition. The same way Jagex lies when they say armour protects you, or weapons do damage, or you have a better chance of cooking at higher cooking levels.

    Lmao I love you.

    +1,000. <3:

In my opinion, it works, but I would prefer a Warrior or Berzerker, only because it makes killing the monster more efficient.

  9. *waves hand* You're asking dangerous questions. It would be wise to forget your troubles. Go now, and never consider the possibilities of noted items again. In fact, I would recommend that you do not search for our magical imp friends, who play no small part in the process of alchemy. *waves hand*

There, my jedi powers seem to be working properly.
