Meh what? You must not understand barrows. You kill 5/6 brothers with 1 as your "tunnel buddy". then u go into the tunnel and find your way threw the maze of doors to a question doors. In which you answer a question and get to the chest and then you get your reward. Good community? Sorry but these forums are probably the most mature I have ever seen, and I still see a lot of imature posts. I think you're mixing 2 things up. You can pay a farmer 2k(?) to chop your tree down, but you won't get the roots, and you can also pay them to watch over your tree, so it won't get diseased. I think it's 200gp. But yes he mixed them up.
