Right click on team fortress 2 in the games list and hit properties. go to local files and verify integrity of game cache. If that doesn't make it work i'd try uninstalling and reinstalling. There is no option for that in my game list.

I've just obtained tf2 on PC. It says "The server you are trying to connect to is running an older v-". What does this mean? Also, steam keeps saying it isn't installed correctly when it is.

The guy next to you is using torags at Desert Strykwyrms when he could be using desert robes. That's a glitch, or stupidy :P The guy in torag's is the poster. Also, using desert robes is the stupidity. I've never facepalmed so hard.
