Completely possible if inside a critical spot in strain, heck, a single power failure when submerged will render the ship useless until drained and repaired. Edel, you can defend from it, but when a flying city is attacking with missiles you know you'll have a hard time.

I believe they would have to move above lightspeed to acomplish that, if not you end up firing one torpedo into the rear of the last one and blowing up your entire stockpile. Icu we're talking about drone weapons: Also a missile can be small:

A laser needs a sustained beam to actually do any damage, a launcher could fire as fast as a gatling if modded enough.

The drones come from within the city through shafts, a salvo is the amount that is fired at the aproximate same time. Rocco, you're just acting like a [bleep]tard, my ships actually only carry four weapons, the drones are like ammo.

I don't think 1,000 drones per salvo from a city ship is overpowered.

The shields are more effective versus energy weapons (right Arch?) and the penetrating power makes its efficiency much greater than if they blew up on collision. In order to make your ships drone resistant you would have to make special anti implosion meassures and keep all important systams near the middle of the ship. Though in any other event than fighter vs. fighter combat the power of each drone wouldn't be as important as the quantity.

Drone platforms are because of my city ship maps, they launch drone weapons. Rocco, I explained them quite well and I believe they were 50 years of my total 500 years of free research.
