  1. I have a lot of dwarves capable of that. And for mining I had this really proffesional dwarf, however he died from a cave-in while digging a water reservoir.
  2. Suddenly my dwarves refused to mine... I'm stuck because no one makes the offices I need to get things back on track.
  3. I'm not narcistic, I'm realistic. Making Dusty captain just means screwing us over again, myself, I'd much rather have a happy crew than to increase my personal power and inflate my ego like he does.
  4. It's just honesty. Grim, still doesn't explain why not to vote for a "saint" (yes, with the amount of "innocence" I play with, I considder that to be a semi-appropriate term).
  5. I agree with Nex. Also, geek as I may be, how anyone could find DnD entertaining is beyond me.
  6. Seriously, WTF Dusty is in the lead? *[roosters] gun* Yeah, WTF? He's an overaggressive, unstable, selfish (no, not in the way that he only cares about the ship, but in that he only cares about himself) and unnegotiable dictator with no clue about strategy other than that tank > rifle.
  7. He was also the person to shoot first then ask the questions... when interrogating his own crew. He did that to me.
  8. Dusty should not be first-in-command, not just due to his previous gameplay (and all other games he has played) but also because of his answers for the survey. If you want someone trustable, choose me, you know I don't lie or act selfishly and I am also one of the few who act moraly.
  9. b is for making larger furniture.
  10. I was bored so I am trying DF out again for the third or fourth time, but I can't figgure out how to make buildings. Help, please.
  11. Same here, 250Gb internal (not even halfway filled) and a 1Tb HDD with just a few games, every episode of Pokémon, Stargate and Avatar, the Stargate movies, Pokémon movies, Iron Man2 and V for Vendetta.
  12. Lynx, Nex was the one who killed everyone except Drake and Jeremiah during your first mission. Also during the first or second session he brought the AI into an error state and stole a shuttle. He's too dangerous and unstable. Res, *cough* threatening an ally *cough*.
  13. Well, I've had my fair share of deleting useful files.
  14. Money is useless for anything but trade. We need a captain with experience, one that we know can't be corrupted. That's why I voted for Retech. Honestly I am that kind of guy as well, but I know I'll never become captain unless I perform a coup.
  15. Computer slow: Empty recycling bin - Deleting 200 476 files, 13,00 Gb. I have to write a short story, but I can't think of anything. Any of you got an idea as to what I could make it about?
  16. Retech, you listened to the crew... well, at least you listened to me. The only other captain to listen to any crewmember was Ross, and he seemed to do that to a bare minimum.
  17. There's no way Dusty's going to get the title, he's too destructive to even be eligeble for considderation. Out of those who have held the title, Ross and Retech are the only ones who have the qualities a captain should have. Though I think we should go with a council as well, so that everything is taken into considderation before a major decision is made.
  18. Ok, so I vote that Nex and Dusty under no circumstance may claim the title of captain in this game. Nor may they claim any other title at or above the rank of the highest ranking other crewmember.
  19. I still think eradicating the virus and taking the ship would've been a better course of action.
  20. It is way worse, it's pretty much a strategy game where you can't see the difference between a bush and one of your dwarves. Also you can't use your cursor or any of the usual keys, you move with the numpad, select with enter and use your regular keys to navigate in-game menus.
  21. His signature is from the intro to Dwarf Fortress, an ASCII game.
  22. Lynx, I tried calling you that at first but then you told me to call you Lee. I'm going to put exactly equal focus on weapons and armour, though I won't be on the battlefield.
  23. Look, we don't use character names on the threads, so either we'll continue calling you Lee or we'll call you Lynx.
  24. Lee, why stop there when you can wear plasma-proof armour coated with anything and ignite that with plasma fire?
  25. It's funny because most of the stuff I make will probably be of more use to them than to me. Also, am I the only one here who was aware that killing medics is a war-crime and if discovered will result in a court martial? It is stated in the Geneva convention that killing a medic is illegal, even in the case of war. It is also illegal to pose as a medic in order not to be shot. If a medic opens fire on you however, they are considdered combat medics and are now legal to shoot... assuming he's your enemy.
