I think I may just have realized a way that Arc reactors could work without breaking the laws of physics. A ring of a very highly conductive metal is surrounded by a coil of any highly conductive metal (silver, copper, gold or aluminum), with a piece of highly negatively ionic metal in the middle. The coil is connected to a step-up transformer and the whole thing is encased, wires are drawn out of the encasing from the transformer and the whole thing is supercooled. What happens then is that the ring becomes superconductive, leading to a free electrical current, it draws electrons from the ionic metal to afford letting loose photons to induct a current in the surrounding coil, that coil then has medium voltage at [voltage/resistance] current (since the inner coil has seemingly infinite current due to superconductivity), that is then stepped up again to high voltage and lower current out of the device. The ionic metal will have to be replaced every once in a while (but not often) due to decay from the loss of electrons.

Just assigned my dining room, then after I checked meeting hall; PUPPY FLOOD!!! I seriously have 30 dogs in a 9*13 room. As well as a load of goats and a few dwarves.

Too bad the settlement was going down the sewer, damn mutjobs killing everyone. Didn't help much that most of them stopped eating fish either.

Finally my computer is back to running at less than half processor load. I was getting really annoyed of being forced to run it in either in IObit's boost mode or at 100% load. EDIT: Jackpot! I just caught a bunch of badgers in what was supposed to be my dining hall!

I was going to post a pic of how I intend Håkon to look like, though when paint.NET decided to just go bust on me when trying to open anything that needed an internal window I was forced to give up. However while making it I realized it looked crudely like me except broader, taller and with a full beard.

Icu, I'm staying permanently on Retech's ship, at least until I can make myself a wessel capable of travel between planets. But you can still considder me part of your science team in that I will provide you with any tech that is useful to you... regarding that, I already have a few, such as nanites and anti-/graviton propulsion. My first invention will be a suit, but here I'll go much more soft-science than previously with flight stabilisation modules instead of a heap of small design changes.

No, the way Archi phrased it made it seem like that. The only thing that could even be interpreted as suspicious that I did was activating the half-finished emitter over my door. Though that was to keep me safe from the two armed maniacs (Dusty and Earth) that were outside my door.

This was because there was no feasible use for the shields for the rest of the crew. Oh, and the fact that you were installing shields in your personal quarters for personal use after a bunch of random shenanigans that people were still going "WTF?!?" about was a little bit more than suspicious. I was installing them all over the ship, they were intended to be used as containement fields in the event of a boarding (yes, they would sure have been usefull hadn't I been interupted). And my "shenanigans" were putting away my gun and looking for the source of the AI malfunction.

Regardless, I don't want him to screw over anyone, unless I become the first ship's captain then I will of course stay on Retech's ship. Dusty, I was installing them all over the ship, and they were supposed to be a ship system, the only thing that made me more capable of controlling them than anyone else was the fact that I made my datapad into a remote control for all basic systems.

He has won two Hegemonies because he's the guy that finds fun in making an army out of his entire bugdet rather than playing it like a nation creation game.
