yea i think you're right though. but i think what happened was my dad befriended this young dude from morocco who had maya unlimited and gave it to my dad. hes really cool and a freaking genius :shock:

CACHE_ID=0 that much :wink: start savin ive got maya unlimited 4.0, though, so its probably only like $3,999. my dad got his masters in informatics (new media) and one of the classes was 3D modelling, so obviously he needed the program, so they gave it to him free. so technically he got it free, and technically not, since he had to pay for classes. we've gotten lots of other programs through this too. adobe premeir, photoshop 7, flash, etc. its awesome :D

yea. there IS a week left (i think its a week), so there is plenty of time left for people to enter. but yes, i do think that ours are the better of all the entries.

i think the shading is descent. but on your next one, try making the shading follow the flow of the armor. dont make it straight up and down. make it wavy lines that curve at the bottom edgfes of the armor. but besides that, its very good for your 3rd sig. especially the armor, whic can be very difficult to draw beginning....for me at least

in yours, i just noticed that the character looks kinda cat-like. its not a BAD thing at all, kinda makes her sexy and mysterious...in a pixel kinda way you know....im not a weird kida that likes nakey anime-thats weird :?

no photoshop...that explains the "perfect" shading. so i kinda cheated :oops: but thats my style if you seen some of my other pics
