the only thing i really want in urs is the see the full rune guy.. the only problem with doing that is it would mess up the perspective. you [the ranger] are at a 180 degree angle, in otherwords, directly horizontal. the only way to show the full rune guy would be to make him extremely close to you. because if he were off in the distance in the background. it would appear that he wasnt even aiming at the guy.

what other stuff may you want ;)

pretty nice. now start to shade it a bit and put some other stuff in the background like a skull or remnants of a building etc...not bad at all for your first though. jw....did you draw directly on top of the rune plate then delete it because it looks perfect. :wink:

i guess my problem is i just dont understand how that is different from what it is....do you want the blue filled circle infront of the tree? cuz isnt it fading into the sky now?

like literally a CIRCLE like NO FILL IN THE MIDDLE or i still dont get it. im stupid and do you like your name like this?

grrr.....ok, im just confused. do you want the glow IN FRONT of the green part of the tree? then it fades into the sky. or do you want it like this

i still dont quite get what you mean, so i did this. tell me if its wrong. seriously dont care. im willing to do whatever the customer wants.

yea i dont want to steal his thread talkin about other stuff. just keep workin. you are off to a greap start and you already have a very very good idea of how to shade correctly. browse around here and other sites and look how other people do their shading and try to mimick theirs. sooner or later, you might be a smellysocks, jeppoz, or a misterxman!!

yea, see you and i have different styles. you are a 100% PIXEL sig maker. im only about 75% since i cheat and do all the shading in PS. and i can do layers etc...

here i added some stuff to the background. isnt AS empty as before. does this look better though??

well what should i add to mine? the background is plain.

i know, i dont want to get sucked in too, but i figured, i could make at least a million with a few good ones, so i tried. ive only made 3 (maybe 4) and they all turned out pretty good. and just wondering but do you say this to everyone? or are you seeing that i may have potential? :roll: EDIT: as soon as i get my tablet for christmas (was the only thing on my list) then ill begin the digital painting etc...

any idea of WHAT to put in the background. i put that midget tree, but that just doesnt cut it. maybe bones or animals or somethin? but thats what everybody puts. help me out yo. :x
