heres my entry. hope you're not upset that i didnt put the guy in full rune. the ranger in the foreground truned out being very big, which i though looked really good, but here it is. CC, and/or tell me what to add or take off. thanks :) this sig was fun to make but took very long. i think 20+ layers in photoshop (not that many, but more than usual)

being a perfectionist is good, lol :lol: anyway, i hope this explains more in detail.. the glow shd be around the leaves of the tree, 'cos that's the part that's sparkling hope u dont mind me copying it! AHH!! IT IS CRYSTAL CLEAR NOW!!! and no problem copying it. anything to help out my mentally challenged brain cells. anywho, ill try and fix that.

first, yes i did realize early on when i made it that the guy was considerably bigger than the boat. i chose not to mess with it-cuz hey, im american and americans are lazy (most at least). and the thing on the right side is supposed to be the sail so its kinda flyin in the wind and is also supposed to be torn up which would explain the giant groove in it.

alright, i dont like these peoples sigs, so i am going to try and SHOW THEM UP!!! :wink: probably wont happen though. so do not end this contest yet!!!

ok i still am feelin a little [developmentally delayed]ed. i dont get it. the aqua glow thing behind the part of the tree where there would be leaves that is circular in shape is uneven. thats what i think you're trying to say. and shading on what doesnt look realistic. i want to make it perfect if you cant already tell :roll:

did in PS which will explain the perfect shading. (no not perfect like great job perfect, but like smooth shading) Start the bidding at ____k....I don't care. Try 50k (if its even worth that) and increments of 5k please? Also, feel free to give me CC. THis is my 3rd pixel sig (if you can't already tell).

:o :o :o now i get it! but the glow looks a little... uneven due to the top blue sky... make it roundish and surrounding the top of the tree and fading slowly into the the darker blue sky with stars will be really really nice :D oh and i just realized... i dont wear a ring of wealth, just a plain gold band when im wcing :wink: first off, i still dont get which glow you mean. do youmean the lower sky with no stars? or the aqua glow aroung the top of the tree. do you mean like making a pillar of light shining on the tree from the heavens? please explain secondly, LOL. i seriously flipped a coin deciding between a gold ring or a ring of wealth. unfortunately....i lost. ;) ill get those things fixed. hopefully i win :)

:shock: i really like this 1, 'cos its original and gives a different view :) i need more entries to decide tho, duh :lol: oh and the dark bluish part looks very... weird... looks as if someone just ripped out something of the lightbluish sky without thought or reason... also i dont understand what exactly is the lightbluish part, doesnt look like part of the sky to be :? somethings u can improve on? love the details btw 8) i guess my idea behind this can come from 2 different perspectives. first off, it is MAGIC tree, so that counts for the blue specks on the tree, and the buit of glow behind it. secondly, if you look at the picture and think about it, the perspective was to show you looking through the bushes at this tree...it is THE TREE. so the glow is like a beckoning from the almighty lord to chop THIS tree. EDIT: i think i see now what you meant by the lighter blue sky. i tried making it so that...well have you ever noticed right at sundown, the bottom half of the sky is still a little bright, but if you look straight up, it is dark and has stars. again i can fix this quickly if need be. EDIT: EDIT: did you mean the "mountains"...well at least thats what theyre supposed to be... but if you dont like it, its an easy fix. bout.....2 seconds. id post it w/out, but my dad is on the other comp that has the PS layered one on it. anything else ill gladly change though -jab

if you do "rip" like people say you do, i dont really understand why you do. assuming that you DID in fact create the sig you have currently by yourself, i dont see why you need to rip other peoples sigs. it takes practice to get good. your helms deep sig that i made for you is only my second pixel sig...if you call it a pixel sig since its only half real since i used PS. anywho, i guess what im trying to say, is dont take other peoples work, because you arent THE BEST pixel sig maker right now, but with practice and making sigs for fun or to enter into contests, sooner or later you might be as good as misterx or the Jeppoz (or any of the other good ones). maybe you just have your own style that you dont yet appreciate, yet you like the style that others do. what you need to do is make pixel after pixel after pixel and figure out what your style looks like. then you will ahve made a sort of name or style for yourself, and everyone who sees your pixels can immediately say, "That was made by Lord-Gabriel." so find your style man. dont take stuff from others sigs like these people are saying you do, be unique. do your own thing -jab

i guess the table is too straight up and down. there is no depthto it i guess. make it skinnier horizontally and shot the gems on the table popping off of it a little

the table has pretty poor perspective on it and the character itself kinda sticks out a bit from the background. besides that, you got everything fine. its just a matter of perspective and making things so they dont stick out. PS. i posted the finished helms deep for you so check the thing. hope you like-took me long enough since it was all hand drawn

i might try this one. im workin on Lord Gabriel's LOTR pixel too right now though. so it might take a few hours longer. ;)

did you make in Photoshop? what i do is first press ctrl-A to select the picture. go to edit-copy merged. next click crtl-N for a new document, and press OK on the screen, since the image you copied is set to the right deminsions already. the do as follows File-Save for Web : then in the drop down menu, select to save it as a GIF. it will save it at maximum, and the pixel i made for dreamlove was originally 60kb+ as JPG, but as a GIF it was only 20kb. that should work IF you made it in PS.

thanks Lord, i figured since im better at photoshop than making pixel sigs, i would try and combine them and hopefully they would level even. i think it turned out pretty nice. but lets leave it up to dreamlove to make that decision :)

yea if you could, id like to make it my background maybe. then brush some coral and underwater vents with smoke billowing out of them. that would be pretty cool

are you looking to make logos or effects on writing such as the fire type or what? im a really good logo maker (i think?) so i might be able to help out.

you got a small black dot where the M in message meets the S in message. maybe there is something on my screen, but it must be capable of scrolling too :D besides that, try and make a little bit more contrast between "the elitists" and get a little bit more of a pattern with the lines. don not get too busy, otherwise it will give someone a headache, but just enough to draw peoples attention to it

when you first read my request, you might get the feeling that i am depressed. this is not so. anywho... - - - - - - - - if you could, i would love a sig that can be described by the following words dark, solemn, rainy, mystical, sorrow, etc... - - - - - - - - no i dont want like some girl crying blood. thats weird. i was thinking a horizon with a lightning bolt. the bolt is casting a huge bright blueish explosion on the ground. a small silhouette of someone sitting in kind of a fetal position but facing the explosion. also, if you could add some kind of brushed rain or something that would be cool. try to stay away from making it grunge if you can. - - - - - - - - id like the name jabraulter on it and possibly the quote "the beginning is only the end of eternity" or some witty quote that makes you think...if you ahve any idea what i am talking about. the silhouette can be a guy or a girl, i dont care. as for size, just keep it within tip it limits. - - - - - - - - if and when you make it, we can discuss the price. ive always loved your work, so there is no doubt in my mind that if you make this, it will be incredible.
