  1. Mistakes get made. Once I accidentally tried killing an aberant spectre without my noseplug. I was wearing Robin and ranger boots. I was hitting nothing and I was takin glike 20's in damage. I couldn;t figure out why.....then I ran away JUST out of their reach. I had no food left and 8 hp. I swear, EVERYONE at bloodvelds ran after me licking their chops hoping that I would die. Most people will give like full rune back, but a massive find like the one you dropped..it's too tough to say. I've never had anything close to that big. As a general rule, I give stuff back if the person's been nice and talkign and all that. AS for the 4 mil thing, yeah it sucks, but eventually it wont seem like that much at all.
  2. lmao@ ohh a lvl 4...that one must be the leader. WOW!!!!!! what a picture. That's the worst I've ever seen. I can;t believe the forums are filled with autoer protectors claiming that jagex is doing everything possible. I think that regular players should have an option to "accuse a macroer" and something would pop up prompting them to type in random characters. If they can;t comply within a certain period of time they are logged off, and if they get a certain number a day or something, their account is banned. To prevent people abusing this option, if you get "accused" and actually type in the correct characters, then an accusation wouldn't even pop up for a set amount of hours. This would prevent skillers from being bothered and prevent people from using that option in the wild. Also, it should only work on people that have a pre set low combat lvl. That picture is sick, wicked and nasty. PS: I don;t know much about computers, so if that idea is unfeasible, I appologize. Doesn;t seem like the problem is being fixed at all. If i'm in any way wrong, that's the impression a lot of players are getting and pictures like that dont help a lick.
  3. for the first time in over 4 months, I was able to buy a bronze arrow from the store. This is something that I should have the opportunity to do at least SOME of the time. It did come at a cost, namely, more expensive arrows, but good riddance macroers!!!!!
  4. A really weird one for me is that I have almost lvl 83 fishing, but I'v only gotten two river trolls in all that time.
  5. I have no less than 32 frog tolkeins to go along with my full frog outfit. I've gotten mime twice and forester guy only once. Anyone else have any weird patterns like this?
  6. sorry for your loss. I hope people don;t come post about how its all your fault. Hackers are the scum of the earth. At the very least they didn;t get you banned by going around breaking rules. What kind of stuff did you lose out of curiousity?

    Player mods

Some mods are the nicest people I've ever met in the game, as a matter of fact most of them are awesome. That doesn;t mean ALL of them are, some of them could be lowlifes that reported EVERYTHING just to become one no matter how minute it was. Some of them are high on themselves. Whatever the case may be, they shouldn;t be referred to as "them" or in some cases on here "we".
  8. **Sorry if I'm a little outdated, I haven't been a member for over a year. If anythings way off, please ignore this** As far as I understand, some people are saying that buying a unid was ripping someone off. I remember, I used to pay 1k per unid and ranars used to sell for 6k (things may have changed.) If i'd buy a bunch of unids, some would turn out to be worth more than 1k and quite a few would be less than 1k. Sometimes I'd win, sometimes I;d lose, but I'd always use the herb to raise my herblore. The person selling it most likely had a pretty low herb lvl and weren;t going to use the unid anytime soon, so they got some quick cash. It was win/win. There's plenty of other skills that the same type of thing applies to. I couldn;t stand farming, and I'd sell some high level seeds I got from slayer for way less than they were probably worth. I wasn;t going to use them, they were taking up bank space and I got quite a lot of money. The whole argument of ripping people off should be thrown out.
  9. hee hee..."flamer".....sorry, that was immature of me, but I had to do it.
  10. That totally sucks. Recently I made a thread in which I painfully tried to explain why many people didn't report autoers. All the sheep swarmed in and said "report an autoer and problem solved." This is a PRIME example of why many people don;t do it. You were only trying to help, and what did you learn from all this? Don't report autoers, it's not worth the risk. Sorry about the black marks. That particular skiller was a lowlife. The next time someone thinks the clear sollution to the autoer problem is to report them, I'm going to direct them to this thread.
  11. I should probably mention that I only have 58 str and 62 attk. That makes the KO pretty slow and difficult. Also, since I'm so inexperienced, I'd be tentative to bring a rune 2h and a rune helm into the wild, I don;t have very much money. Thanks for the reply.
  12. Hi, I used to be a member, then I stopped playing for awhile. Now that I'm f2p, and will be for awhile, the only fun thing to do is wild. When I was a member, wild wasn't really my thing. Since I;ve never really p[k-ed, I need some advice for my character. I have no interest in makin a pure or joining a clan or anything. My relevant stats are: 94 range, 55 pray, 75 mage, 86 hp and 81 def. I seem to do pretty well against almost everyone, but I just don;t know what to do and end up running so that I don;t lose my arrows. Any tips about what my inventory should be, who I should fight and how I should fight? Any help would be appreciated..thanks. Also, whats the best course of action take when being attacked by 3 or 4 people at f2p greaters, when being hit by all types of attack? I usually protect melle, eat a lot and run until lvl 20 and then telly. I usually make it, but I'm sure theres a more effective way.
  13. seeing the robin hood hat as a reward for a clue scroll. Also, when I was like lvl 55 and mauls just came out and they were the coolest thing ever I saw one on the ground when someone died during the grand tree quest.
  14. I'd just gotten up to 50 range and proudly put on my blue dragon hide (ohhhhhhhhh....impressed?) I pm-ed my friend to say "I can wear blue, now people at CW will be impressed." Only I said it out loud instead of to my friend. Also when I was really low, like lvl 9, a highway man attacked me and said "stand and deliver" I thought it was another player. I ran away screaming stop attacking me.
  15. Wow! luring a mugger into the store is really against the rules? Can someone confirm this? If that's the case, then its hard to say that Jagex is doing EVERYTHING possible to stop the "problem." Also, who can;t survive an attack from a mugger? If the player was actually a legitimate lvl 3 pure ess miner, they could easily survive the attack. All they would have to do, is open the door themselves.
  16. Just report the bot and problem clearly solved (sorry, sarcasm.) I know what youre saying, I had that problem a lot at Varrock rune shop. The disheartening thing is, that even the ones I managed to kill (ess miners) eventually reappeared again and continued to auto. They were back in like 5 minutes. Yeah, the civil rights movement for bots is getting to be a problem, I agree.

    autobuyers

it DOES work, I hit the mugger in varrock with air strike (so that it only does max 2 damage.) and then run into the rune shop. Get a friend to close the door and keep it closed. The biggest problem was other people kept on attacking the mugger. I managed to kill 4 autoers in like 10 minutes. All they dropped was a full load of ess though. The one rune buyer never got touched for some reason. I dont think of it as item scamming whatsoever. I think of it as killing autoers (which are against the rules.) And as someone said..if they werent autoing, they could VERy easily run away without dying. Even a legit lvl 3 can survive a mugger attack.
