All of those KC areas are slowed down without a bandos item. You will be getting hit by the monsters instead of them fighting the zammy monsters, and the zammy monsters will not be damaging them nearly as often. If your wondering why I always beat you in KC, this is probably it :-# . No you beat me because i always got kc at the slowest spot.

1. Granite mace is a Bandos item. If you want a Zamorak item, you can bring a Zamorak robe (Very cheap) or a Unholy Symbol (That's very cheap too) and drop/change them when your done with getting KC. 2. I prefer Abyssal whip with defender and find it best, but it can be different for you. My stats are maxed, and i also have a fury and other items that have great attack bonus. Attack bonus is what makes you hit less 0s. So: Levels+Items+Solo Experiences = Successful Bandos Solo Trips ITEMS Using right items gives good results. If you use a glory, you will get so much attack bonus. But if you replace it with a god stole for example, you will get more prayer bonus but you loose alot attack bonus. So best thing is to focus on items that give attack bonus, but also don't forget to have decent prayer bonus and defense. Abyssal whip and Godsword uses slash, so slash attack bonus is best to focus on. LEVELS If you have attack 70, you will hit alot more 0s than if you hit at level 99. So higher levels you have the better. Abyssal whip and defender works best at maxed melee. SOLO EXPERIENCE If your not familiar with the boss and what he can do, you will get nervous. Being nervous is natural, but the time when you stop being nervous about Bandos boss, the damage he does...and the hp your at is the time you are EXPERIENCED at Bandos. Experienced players use their time to damage boss effectively, and they eat when they have to and attack when they should. If your not experienced you will alot of times eat food when you shouldn't. In order for someone to get good solo trips, they also need to be focused and calm. If for example they get hit 35 damage, they must not freak out. Instead they should know it would happen and eat sharks. When i kill boss i eat sharks when i am are under 80 hp. I eat sharks under the boss, this prevents boss from using his ranged attack. Also if boss takes me down to 74 hp when using ranged, i wait til i get a hit on boss before i go under boss and eat sharks. I also right click under boss (Beast of burden often goes under boss), and from right click i have "Walk here" ready. So if the boss damages me to under 80 hp i left click "Walk here" right away. 3. Don't ask me for a alternative, instead ask yourself "What is Karil top good for?". I pointed out that it is used for magic sergeant, and that means Karil has good magic defense. There is 3 armor that has good magical defense Armadyl: Greatest magical defense, a bit prayer and best item to use if your gonna need magic defense. But for Solo Bandos its bad, cause it has negative attack bonus on melee attack bonuses. It is only good for rangers in other words. Karil: The best option for many players and cheaper than Armadyl. It has great magical defense and though it is has not greater magic defense than Armadyl, it is close it. Unlike Armadyl it does not affect your melee attack bonuses. Now what is the next armor with good magic defense? Dragon hides (Black dragon hide is the best): This has good magical defense, but not better than Karil. It has less ranged defense but it has a bit more melee defense than Karil. Hope it helps :thumbup:

I don't get you guys. KC spots: 1) Goblins near Zamorak bridge. Monsters: Weak ogre and goblins. Problem: None. So what if they are aggressive because you don't use Bandos item? That's a bonus. 2) Hobgoblins near Goblins (The ones where werewolfs is killing them). These ones are weak too, and i usually bring Enchanced Excalibur (14 def boost and 20 hp heal). Problem: None. 3) Hobgoblins near boss room. This is the slowest of them all. Don't need Bandos nor Zamorak item. Jeez... Running to boss: Requires no Bandos item but is best with one.

EQUIPMENT Torag's helm (Defensive melee and ranged, will help against melee+ranged sergeant and boss) Amulet of fury (Great defense,offense and prayer bonus) Karil's top (Great magical defense, the magic sergeant can hit you very badly sometimes) Bandos tasset/Torag's leg (Both have great defense, helps against melee and ranged sergeant and boss) Dragon boots (Greatest offensive and defensive boots for melee) Barrow gloves (Greatest offensive and defensive gloves for melee) Fire cape>Trimmed skillcape Abyssal whip (With a Rune defender)>Godsword INVENTORY Saradomin brew Super restore Super attack and strength 2 Prayer potion (You will need 3-4 i bet, i am 99 prayer) 1 Click teleport Hammer Sharks Enchanced Excalibur for the special. All other weapons are either not worth their specs (Dragon dagger, mace, long) or they just are to much to risk for a solo making you loose more (Dragon claws, Ags,Dragon hally, BGS) BEAST OF BURDEN Sharks NOTE: You need a Bandos and Zamorak item for either KC or to get through Bandos stronghold. Here's what you can use: Granite Mace (Grand exchange), Bandos tasset (Grand exchange), Ancient mace (Another slice of H.A.M Quest reward)

Got this when i showed some friends how to solo. Was solo kill, the guy near me only killed sergs.

If you can't afford Bandos tassets or chestplate or something expensive. Torag's legs as legs/or verac if you want. Granite mace(G.E)/Ancient mace (Another slice of H.A.M) = BOTH ARE BANDOS ITEMS. Problem solved, and no he do not need Bandos item but it's best.

His first setup has zammy d'hide, which is inferior to karil's. Also I missed the part about tassets; his second setup had barrows legs so I assumed his first did also. I have never done tests with whip and rune defender at lower levels. But i think it is because of this (I may be wrong though): A friend of mine with low defense had same gear as me at Dagannoth rex, and he got hit very little. I though that i didn't get hit much mostly because of my defence level, but it turned out that it was mostly because of the defensive armor. He was around 80is in defense where i was 99, and he did well defensewise. So i would say that Defense skill did not have a big impact there but the armor did. So same thing goes for Whip+Rune defender perhaps? Rune defender: Very great attack bonus which is what makes you hit through So i would dare to say that whip is better, but i can be wrong.

Seeing as you are maxed this is the best for you. Verac's helm>Torag's helm Amulet of fury Karil's top Bandos tassets Dragon boots Fire cape>Trimmed skillcape Abyssal whip Rune defender Barrow gloves Abyssal whip speed and good accuracy and Rune defender's attack bonus beats Godsword at maxed level. You should try it 10 times before you decide for Godsword or Abyssal whip. The reason why most players find Abyssal whip bad is because they either don't have to good levels or they are not using Rune defender.

The idea was improved mostly thanks to Compfreak, and me and him are now sharing the credit of this suggestion. Anyhow according to Compfreak 10% higher chance of rare is what Ring of wealth does, and that's very little. Many say Ring of wealth dont help, some say it does etc. So i think 25% is right at bosses, and 15% at usual monster such as Abyssal demon. Further more, when looting the corpses your thieving success rate is based on your Thieving level and the combat of the monster, so you might fail alot.

One good thing came out of this which was that Abyssal whip and Rune defender is better than Godsword at maxed melee. I want my Chestplate :cry: or hilt :( Wouldn't complain if i got chestplate :cry:

I don't use the forums for any discussing or serious thing. I just check sales and if i got a good suggestion i post it. Other than that i dont care about the forum.
