99 SUMMONING Yo, i am soon 99 Summoning. Wanna be there? 8-) Currently i am level 98 but the progress is going well, and right now i can't say for sure when i will have it but i will first provide information in this thread. This. Membership is so cheap it's ridiculous and if you can't stand to lose the $.50 a day, then maybe you can't afford to be a member. Hourly/daily subscription rates would just over complicate something that's functioning perfectly as it is. Edit: I also agree with compfreak that fees could be raised. A $5 or $10 increase would be a huge increase in revenue and could possibly weed out some of the immature players and giving everyone a better gaming experience. How would raising fees help? I meant, why would it weed out the immature players?

My recent clues did not have any firelighters, and as a matter of fact they aren't that common. Common, yes....very common no.

Nothing compared to the number received from clues. I think I saw someone light 3 once, before they exclaimed 'wow, these are worthless' and dropping the rest. I've dropped hundreds myself, for every person who uses 3 at a party there's a few hundred people who have gotten hundreds apiece. They would be a junk item, worthless at any price. There are many players who think Godsword is great weapon because it symbolizes "Great power", but they don't know it's not that great... I am sure many players would fool around with fire lighters once they see more of them. You never know... I bet many will, but maybe your right...but i might be too.

There are alot players who likes to fool around than focus on skills/items/gold. I am sure they would like the firelighters, not to mention i would like to use some at drop parties myself.

I think they will be bought after few hours, atleast they will be sellable.

Here's my idea: If you log in you loose credit for that day, if you don't you will keep it. And when you don't log in the activities ingame will not progress.

The time limit for that should be 2 minutes. So if you are logged in for more than 2 minutes, 1 day credit will be counted. That way it gives Jagex some cash (Because 2 minutes is little) and also helps players not loose credit because they weren't on that day.

There is few good ideas in this thread that lets them have their extra $ at same time have players best at mind.

Yes i know, but we aren't playing exactly 30 days. The membership is active for 30 days. But i am not worrying to much. Jagex needs to earn cash, so i have to respect that.

Well like i said i wanted your view of it. Seems like you have good reason to it and some respect towards Jagex and i like that. Only 1 person acted like a kid towards topic, rest were great. Thanks for the comments, if there is more to it make sure you post and i will read on. After the comments i don't think membership expiring in hours could be good for game or Jagex. 1: Jagex would get little cash 2: The payment method might be expensive if Jagex is to get cash from game. 3: Little updates for game? 4: Might be work to manage to make a system that notes down hours each player has played, and it detecting when they are/or not. There is over 100K+ active players...

haha, i acctually said that to walka. word by word "im glad i picked this one up, it would be horrible to tele out without it." How many active members do GWDA have and how many non-active if i can ask?

That just says how much you loose everyday, i wanna know why it can't be done. How would it overcomplicate it? (Not that it can't but asking you how you think it would...) I agree on that and that's why i made this topic. You get 30 days membership, but your not really playing for 30 days. If Jagex can do the system like the way i imagine it easily, then they should.

Even if they were useful, they must first be tradeable. So first of all: make them tradeable.

Before i begin this thread, let me say that if there is something i have not gotten with me then excuse me for that. Also take this topic seriously. I have been thinking this for a while and wanna see your view of it. I was thinking, when you pay for membership, sometimes you are gone on a vacation or something unplanned. While you are, your membership expires everyday. So i am wondering what you think of this: Should it expire based on hours you play? If it should, what stops it from not? I mean it's stupid to pay for membership, only to have it expire when you don't play. I know you shouldn't pay for it if you aren't gonna be on game alot... But what stops game's membership expiring being based on hours you play? Example: Whenever you are logged in the game, the clock will tick and note down how long you have been logged in for. So your membership expires, and once you log out it stops. So next time you log in, the clock will once again tick. Tears Of Guthix: Notes down how long til you can do the minigame (Kinda similar to this). If the game's membership expired like this, it would be great. But i am guessing it might be more work for Jagex? EDIT: If you know a better way for membership expiring, then make sure you share it. But please remember, this is not a suggestion.

( Steel titan at arma=as great as a lvl 110 player, excalibur (Enchanced=20 HP per special and 14 def boost, don't need to engage in combat like sgs) Anyhow after i get 99 summ i am gonna stay 1 last month to have fun with dragon pet and steel titan. That month will be loads GWD with friends, and your welcome to Join Sparks if you want. But if it's possible i'll try to join a Arma trip with Y O U mostly. Enjoy the hilts. Really nice. So i have to do it effectively everyday :wall: Deadline so :S But i estimated around 7-8 days.
