The reason the healer killed you was that you probably had 4 of them on you. They hit max 14, and players usually have 1-2 on them and pray steel skin. So here's how you probably died: 1. Healers killed you (All four of them) 2. Healers attacked you, and damaged you and you had trouble and TzTok-Jad hit you while your attention was on the healers (As they were damaging you). Thanks for your help anyway Laura. You helped me and our conclusion is that: Acer support is not the best. I called Custom support on a Norwegian line. The guy who i got directed to was Swedish, and he misunderstand me and my brother tons! For example, my brother tried asking if there was a chance that my computer still had the "Reboot" setup despite me installing XP. Reboot setup: Setup for Vista Premium, incase computer gets messed up. So my brother said "You see, on other computer which is a Packardbell there is a "Reboot" setup so i was wondering if the reboot is still in my brother (Me) computer despite him installing XP?" The guy misunderstood big time, and he thought my brother was asking if Packardbell had the reboot setup-.- After that we came to thing that he could send us Vista CD i think (Not sure, the guy was speaking swedish!) and then he said he needed the DATE when the computer was bought and without it he could not help us. I have no idea when it was bought, my other brother bought it for my birthday and i don't know if he bought it before handed or on same day.

Again i got pirated Windows xp, so i am blocked from updates. I tried the Pan American download for LAN. The Realtek Lan Driver. But it's just the same one as the one in Europe, just with a different name. Thanks for suggestion though.

Acer is really bad about driver support in my opinion. My sister bought an Acer X1200, with no drivers for the video, sound, or wireless card (one she installed herself, which the system recognized as a 56k modem). I'll take a look and see if I find anything. Also, about Vista, it was bad when it was first released, because it didn't work on all computers, it wasn't compatible with certain hardware, and it was/is extremely sluggish without the correct hardware, which made the transition difficult. However, multiple updates to Vista has fixed this problem. I wouldn't put it on something with like a low end processor and less than 2GB of RAM though. EDIT: Yup, all the links on the Acer website for driver support me tell my that it's an invalid URL. :-# I went to the Pan America support though, and it gave me more options than the Europe option. But I had to tackle the glitchy flash box that constantly wanted to know what system I had. Thanks for taking your time to check for me Laura, that's really nice of you. But did you find any drivers that would suit my Acer Aspire L5100? I need one for Ethernet controller. Obviously it is LAN. But i went to Europe custom support, and downloaded the LAN+Modem driver, and none of them worked when i went to Device Manager>Ethernet controller>Install driver>From there i choosed location of the drivers on my computer. Here's picture of both folders when extracted: [hide=LAN][/hide] [hide=Modem][/hide] The folder with LAN driver had no file that resemblances a setup file for a driver. I know how a setup file usually is, and a player with name starting "00" in Forsaken's chat told me to look for a setup file and also with "[Caution: Executable File]" at the end. I did that but did not find such file in LAN folder. The Modem folder did have a setup kinda file, and i clicked it but all i got was to install "Modem drivers" and after the installion was done it goes away and i don't have a clue what i installed. and where it is. I am connected to internett because my connection is unstable, and i decided to get internet with a ethernet cord. So i have no problem chosing 1 (Wireless or Wired connection), but problem is i don't have driver installed for Ethernet controller. So when i plug in ethernet cord, it ain't detected and i won't get connection. I have pirated copy of Windows xp (Please don't complain to me about why i do), so i can't acess updates :cry: Blue star... Also can you please direct me where to find the "Ethernet port"? I know i posted same thread twice, but that was because of my connection. As for drops it does depend on how much you do what you do. I just wish that sometimes even i got lucky. Yes i have gotten Dragon legs, at what price? 600K-700K. I get things when they cost not much and i have yet to get a 4m+ item Solo :x

I have so bad luck. I have killed over 140 Dagannoth Rexes and gotten only 1 Warrior ring. I am not sure exact how much kills, but i say over 140 as i kill over 30 each trip. I have done my 8th trip now. I am tired of working so hard for everything and get the lamestdrop as always. I killed 30+ Bandos boss kills and only got a Shard. I killed 30 Zamorak boss kills and only got a Shard+Zamorak Spear (Why a Shard at beginning?`?WHY!) And now, i have done 8th Dagannoth rex trip without a Dragon axe/Bersker. But guess what? I got a Warrior ring! Nice 200K EARNED!. It's not that i am not grateful or don't appreciate a drop. But i always, always get the bad drops and i always have to work very hard to get them. I hate the way the drop rates are fixed. Why? I am combat 137, no visage, no bandos hilt, no zamorak hilt and no dragon chains (killed 30K+ dust devils thanks alot!) 2 axes+a berserker total (And it was two months ago). I my account for it's luck.

I installed XP myself. But here's what i have tried. I went to Acer's support site (Drivers and Utilities): http://support.acer-euro.com/drivers/de ... l5100.html From there i choosed Acer Aspire L5100 and downloaded "LAN" driver. Because that's why i don't get internett wired, and thats why it does not detect. My ethernet controller has no driver installed... I downladed Lan Driver and Extracted it to my documents. From there i went to Computer>Properties>Hardware>Devicesmanager>Ethernet controller From here i chose "Install driver", and then i took options to "Choose location myself". I chosed the Extracted Lan folder in My documents. But it still haven't worked.

I don't got a laptop, i don't know what you would call it. But it's opposite of a laptop, i think i got the right word for somewhere in my mind but right now it's clean lol. Anyhow, despite i pirated the OS i am not encouraging others to do so. I downloaded XP after i experienced problems with Mozilla and AVG. I could have bought a computer with XP, but i got it as a gift and to be computers with XP seems to get wiped out. But i blame myself for doing such stupid thing and reinstalling XP after i found problems with Mozilla and AVG. I also found XP better in a way because i have used it for very long time, and i heard Vista was bad (Which is kinda true).. But a question: Despite me installing XP, i had Vista premium...does my computer still have the chance to use the BOOT thingy to reinstall Vista?

I did it because my Vista had problems... Programs i needed did not work. Anyhow, i need to say it again because it might have with problem to do. The Ethernet controller is for the Cord port right? Obviously the driver for this is not installed, and neither can i update as i have been blocked off from updates. So couldn't that be the reason? As for pirating, i did what i did but it's nothing cool to do it and i did it because i were forced and i did not have great knowledge. So i hope we can discuss it, as it can be the problem. The router is new and yes it's not secured. But we live in middle of nowhere, are you sure that even in such location someone can ruin the connection? (We got 1 neighbour across road and that's it)

Well i don't know for sure if others were pirated, but the Geniuine blue star from Microsoft weren't there around 3 years ago i think. But yes i believe others have had XP reinstalled using a pirate copy. As their copy weren't installed recently like mine was. Anyhow i found that driver for "Ethernet Controller" has not been installed. Can someone please explain what Ethernet controller is? I tried finding out myself and found out something about Locale Network area. I can guess that the Ethernet controller is the thing that connects to internett using the ethernet cord that you take from a router? I know for sure i don't have a driver for the Ethernet controller, and i know that when i plug ethernet cord in computer i don't get up internett connection for non wireless. So can Ethernet controller have something with it to do? Also if you install Windows XP from Windows Vista Premium, will the boot system (to reinstall Vista) still be there or have i ruined that?

I have wireless, and there's really something real bad with wireless network. I keep disconenction and losing my internett all the time... So i wanna use a ethernet cord (I hope that's right), and then connect to internett using that. But, when i did that i did not get a connection icon and neither did i get connection. I got Windows XP which is a pirate copy, and the Microsoft blue star prevents me from updates. So does anyone have any suggestions what could be the problem and how to solve it please? P.S We have other computers in house and they use ethernet cord to connect to internett, and it works well and without problems. So please help if you can :cry:

I have recently experienced spam expected in my threads. It's also known users, but enough of that. I hope Admins make sure Help and Advice is very very strict as it should be. People come to ask for help #-o Here's quato from thread where i asked why "My account is still logged in" (Server crashed). I also quating the first post. Anyhow people were helpful, but one guy posted spam..and he was also first poster. This shouldn't be tolerated by admin to be honest. Someone hacked you. Good Fight. I believe flaming can happen in other forums easily because of different opinions, but when your asking for help then that's another thing.

I have alot of times posted questions and theories/ideas about something and wanted advice or answers. Most of time i have gotten great respons. But i have lately experienced that some people are being immature and are not after helping but laughing at you or making trouble. I hope that TIF admins see this. As i am very tired of posting something to get help or advice, then i get a immature respond back. TIF Admins,you guys should really watch these people. Help and Advice is a forum where people get help, not a place to be immature or flame/spam a poster. Anyhow, if this kind of attitude keeps going on i will erase all trace from my account and leave this community forum. I don't think you will miss, me as i won't miss you either (Sorry but i haven't made much friends, but i am to neutral i guess =P~ ). Anyhow, please Admins. Do something about Help and Advice. I am at Dagannoth rex, and i know this message appears as the spinolyps attack you. But i keep getting the message over and over... Is someone in my account or is this a glitch?

I am so sick of hearing people wonder why others hate a certain skill. GET OVER IT. You get a cape for yourself, and if someone says it's a bad skill then tell them back: "And who the hell are you?!" The only thing you should expect from others is information and opinions. Take these questions as example. Where i "Ask a player who got 99 defence" and consider to get a 99 myself. 1: Is the skill useful? Why and how? 2: Is the cape cool? 3: You like 99 def? 4: You think i should get it? Not asking questions or checking up on what cape "is cool", and less common. This situation of what is cool and uncommon is stupid, love the skill for the skill. It can be compared to a thread i made. on Gallery section i made a drawing on paint of the Sun i made some effects to make the "Volcanci craters" inside Sun. Pyromancer told me "Draw what you see, not what you think you see" which is great advice and really made me realize how important it is. Same to you: ignore what everyone says, you find skill useful and good and enjoyable. THEN DO IT!

As i was doing quest and read guide i came to dreamland where i had to do alot minigames. One of the minigames has "Dices" included which you must somehow add up to a right number. Anyhow in the quest guide it says "Die" and not "Dice" lol. Here's the phrase: The yellow portal south of the gray portal is a dice game. Speak to the Ethereal Fluke. Each die will show two different numbers: The west die shows 2 or 5, the centre die shows 1 or 6, the east die shows 3 or 4. NOTE: Please add that if you log out during the dream minigames, you will log back at the Moonclan village and not dream so you have to do stuff all over again. That happend to me :wall: NOTE 2: I went 0neiromancer, and it appears she gives you more "Kindling" and "Walking Sleep potion". So you can add to guide this phrase if you like. "NOTE: If by any chance you log out during the dream minigames, you will be teleported out of dreamland. But don't worry you do not have to do it all over again, just go back to 0neiromancer and she will give you "Kindling" and "Walking Sleep potion".

Zaros seems like a cool and evil god that's all. Well i would consider intelligence a power, but don't know if others would :)
