Again, that's not true. In order to be anywhere close to useful, you need to risk several million coins worth of equipment. Otherwise you'll be hitting frequently and not doing any damage. It's better than Dragon Spear, but that's about it. As much as I'd love my leaf bladed sword to have a purpose, it's just not worth it. Guthan's spear makes a far better alternative to Zamorakian spear seeing as so many people have one. And if you can't afford that, then rent a Zamorakian Spear. Also, a Z Spear is only ~1M if you can get it in GE. I've had offers at max price for 4-5 days now, and I've gotten two spears so far (I'm collecting them to sell to my friends who need em.) The topic owner asks if Leaf Blade will be used at Beast, and it will. As for Dragon Spear and Guthan: they are to slow! If you wanna use that, it's better using a Dragon Halberd as it has great stab bonus. But i just don't see what else there's to discuss, the leaf blade sword is useful at Corporal but not more than Zamorak Spear. But feel free to discussing though.

He does not use RAGE all the time, but you will notice he does it. So always be on guard ;)

What the hell???? How can he do damage to you when your protecting from melee??!! My question has been: Does he use his ranged attack when your beneath him or not?!

Torag Plate and Legs: Great when leveling melee skills. Verac Plate and Legs: Great for bosses: Saradomin, KQ, Dagannoth Kings, Bandos, Armadyl and Bandos. Guthan Set: Great for healing when leveling skills Karil Body+Skirt: Good magical defense: Great for Waterfiends+Zamorak boss.

So in other words: going beneath him makes him not use his range attack? Or Does you being beneath him somehow make you not get hit by the range attack...?

There is no discussion left in this topic. Here's why i think that: Zamorak Spear, Fighter Torso, Helm Of Neizinot and Fury gives quite pretty good stab bonus (better stab than leaf blade sword+defender) and also gives more strength bonus. Spear might be hard to get, but that's just it. As for Leaf it's just a cheap option. Conclusion Leaf-Bladed Sword is useful at Corporal Beast, but it's not better than Zamorak Spear. But it is a cheaper option...

That's odd. In Toast guide: he says to go under boss when you need to heal.... But you are praying mele (Covers mele attack), and even if you go underneath boss he will still use range attack.... So what's point in going under him for lol?

Zamorak boss Info: He uses a usual melee (never taken his mele attack head on, but i bet it's dangerous) and he also has <>. Rage is a magical attack, where he gets angry and blasts his magical demonic attack on you. This attack will hit through your prayer and can hit for max 49 (He often hits 30-40+, so be prepared), and it also drains your prayer by 6-13 prayer points. He also poisons you, and it can hit up to 16 damage. Other notes: he's huge and slow. Gear and Inventory NOTE: Focus well on your magical defense and prayer bonus, but don't focus more than necessary. In other words: don't have all magical+prayer bonus items. Gear Verac's Helmet:Great protection against Range and Melee Sergeants, also gives prayer bonus. Zamorak Stole: It gives+10 prayer bonus and +2 magical defense bonus, aswell provides as protection against Zamorak monsters. Boss uses Rage (magical attack) and drains your prayer, so it's great to use. Karil Body: Good magical defense. Karil Skirt: Good magical defense. Dragon Boots: Good defense against Range and Melee Sergeants, as well provides strength bonus that is good. Cape: Fire Cape>Trimmed Skill Cape>God Cape (Saradomin if you use Zamorak Stole)>God Cloak Main +Special Weapon: If you use Godsword, then use it as main and special weapon. But...if you use whip then i recommend having Dragon Halberd as Special Weapon. Darklight can be considered as spec weapon: lowers 10% DEF,STR and ATT off boss if u get a hit. Shield: Dragonfire Shield>Obsidian Shield (These shields are to provide more defense against melee and range sergeants) Ring of Wealth as ring Barrow Gloves: If not use a other Glove that helps. Inventory Saradomin Brew>Super Restore>Super Anti Poison>Super Attack and Strength>2 Prayer potions 1 Click Teleport Dragon Halberd/Darklight (If you ain't using Godsword) Rest Sharks Familiar Inventory (Bullant/Spirit Terrorbird/WarTortoise): 1 Extra pouch Rest sharks Tactics To get into Zamorak Stronghold with familiar+it's load You must get to Ent, then from there "Dismiss" Familiar. After that, go down to Stronghold: drop as many items as you need to....then go back up and pick up the items your familiar dropped when you dismissed it. Then go back down, and summon new familiar and load it back with the items. Boss Tactic Pray Mele Whenever he rages on you and you are low on food: go inside of him and heal and pot up. Remember: boss is very slow+huge (So nice way to heal up by going inside)

So from 99-100 in a skill you need: 187M exp? That's absurd. As for Jagex not raising level caps, i don't know about it: i haven't see statement from them that they won't or will. New skills is fun, but i believe it can be better to level old ones as well.

Since Combat (Melee) is my number one fun in the game, and i know it hasn't been upgraded much level wise i wanna ask/see what you believe is best: 1: New skills or 2: Upgraded skills Also what do you think of level caps? Personally i find upgraded skills better than new skills. It's fun with new skills too, but having constant new skills is getting old. It's like this: You make a great artwork (skill), then as soon as you are done with it, you forget about it. Besides: i rather level skills i like more than others that i don't like so much. A skill should go higher levels, despite how hard it can be to balance it out in a way so that it does not have negative effects on the game. The only things my favorite skills get is new items: which is appreciated but higher hitpoints or defence level would be even more appreciated. I know there is players with EXP RANK that is huge. Example: Over 80m+ attack experience. But, if they decide to make it so you could go beyond level 99 for melee skills as an example: then they could re-set the players with the huge EXP to 13M(Which is how much needed for 99). But despite that every players get their EXP re-set, they should keep the EXP in Highscore. Example: I have 100m EXP in Defence, then Jagex updates skill cap level to 105. I then get my EXP re-set to 13M, but my "EXP COUNT" on Highscore does not get re-set. This way whole Runescape: will then have to re-work for the levels. But it's just examples to demonstrate ways that can solve some problems that Increasing level caps can bring. Well guess that's all i had on my mind. I hope that people have thought more about the problems and solutions to increase in level cap than me. I would like to hear them ;) Discuss.

I don't get it: players have reported that defense does not matter as the boss hits through prayer+armor defenses. So why the hell does some players pray Magic and some use armors? And no Leaf Blade+Rune Defender

No point, but if your thinking to kill ZAMORAK i can recommend getting lesser task at Vannaka or Zanaris slayer masters(dunnu what one is best to be honest). It helps you alot. But if you can't be bothered: then verac helm(if u can afford it if u die) or neiznot.

Zamorak Boss = is a Lesser Demon His Mele Serg= Is a Greater Demon His Range Serg= Is a Lesser Demon His Mage Serg= Is a Black Demon. If You are gonna do Zamorak GWD: I recommend Getting a Lesser Task

Does Bandos Stop using his Magic kinda Range Attack when you go inside of him? What's Drop Rate/Ratio of Zamorak Hilt Drop?

Those are decent Special Attacks, but Jagex is unfortunately def.

Yes sir it is. But did you know, that it's one of accurate Weapons in whole Runescape? That against Big monster it hits 2 hits? So it has 3 special bars = 2 hitsx3=6 HITS Salve Amulet E (Boss is undead): Increases Attack level+Strength by 20%=See what this does? This will insure a Player will hit 50+ With halberd. So here's the calculation: 118 STR/ATT (My levels SUPER POTTED) x20% =2360=2360:100=23.6 Levels=23.6+118=141.6 ATT/STR Level.

Dagger is nice: but Halberd has more stab bonus and hits harder on a BIG OBJECT. So i think Halberd as SPECIAL WEAPON works nice. But Leaf blade sounds nice as Main Weapon. Didn't knew it had more STAB than Dagger

Dragon Dagger P++: Hits extremely well damage with 4 Special Attacks: Where you hit twice (x2). So that's 4x2=8 Hits. + Poisons. Daggers=best stab. So no, i don't think leaf is better.

For me it's completionist sake. It drives me crazy that I'm missing just one song, and there's one aspect of runescape that I have yet to experience yet that's within my ability (I'm not restricted by levels) someone could only play members for like 2 days and experience something that I haven't, kinda bugs me. I have yet to get a 2m Monster Solo Drop (Visage,DFH, GWD Items, no shards) Now i know if i get it: i will be 2m+ richer. Champion scroll: the duel with Imp lasted less than 10 sec...and i got just some small EXP. So i don't see why you want it.

What's so great about getting them.... I have gotten the champion scrolls, but i don't see how its any fun or good.
