Hey guys, recently started playing runescape again. I bought a bgs and had my fun, but now I'm planning to sell it. I'm gonna have about 31mil in the bank after i do, and i was thinking of using it to get a skill cape that i always wanted: Range. I did some research and found out they nerfed chins. How bad is it? Is it still worth it? I don't care if it's like 10k xp less per hour, but if it's like 100k xp less... If it is still good, then I have some more questions: Im currently lv 82, and I want (if possible) to get all the way to 99. From what I've heard this takes about 45k chins. Is this correct? -Should i use red or grey chins? -About how much would it cost in total taking prayer pots, food, etc. into account? WIll I be able to get to 99 with my budget? (may do aviansies for more cash) -should I use my void or blk d hide? I think that's all the questions i had. Ty in advanced, Armageddian

Hey guys, I just got 55 mage on my pure so i could get mage xp while doing other stuff :D . I was Planning on sitting on a pvp world and alching while i get my EP up, or alching on a BH world until I get a target. So... I need something to alch :wall: , I used to alch all the time but haven't done so in a while, what are good items to alch now? I preferably want something that is cheeper-ish so I can take large quantity's in and stay in without banking for a while. Obviously something that I don't lose too much (I don't mean dying, I mean preforming the alchs), I remember I used to alch ruby rings, and lost somethign like 12gp each so around that. :? If there isn't anything like that then plz suggest something else I could alch (doesn't have to be in pvp). Umm... i think that's it... :mrgreen: Ty in advanced! ~Armageddian

Ok guys, I have been slowly getting up my stats. I got 80 str and 31 pray now! :thumbsup: I'm pking alot better now and getting lots of drops + KO's. :mrgreen: Combat Lv: 67 So now I have a new set of questions . The main question is: Should I get my prayer up to 43??? 31 is fine, but I think 43 would help alot, for one thing it would be easier to get away from rushers and pjer's. I have lost way too much cash to them... :wall: . Also when fighting someone with defence the protect prayers block 50% of non-npc attacks, so it would be almost like having some def. So instead of being hit everytime and not getting much chance to attack I could get more hits in. Another thing that would be good is I could complete Desert Treasure easily (I know you dont need pray but I dont think I'd be able to do it) and get ice burst, which would further help me take down Def ppl in armour. :D BTW: I would get 1 cmb lv to get 43 pray. :ohnoes: So... what do you guys think? Is it worth it? Other questions: 1: Is superheating a good way to get to 55 mage? If so, what should I superheat to break even/ lose less? 2: Death plateau worth it? Since you have such high def already, theres not alot you could do. Here are the options I could think of: 1: Max out all melee stats (Kinda obvious but would work) :roll: 2: Get 70 or 75 attack, 70 def, and then max out str (Barrows pure) 3: Get 70 Def, then very high range ( 90+) which would make you a range tanker. As you can see you need to get at least one 99 stat to pk well with your account, that will take a VERY long time :wall: . Also, you would also probably need to get at least 94 mage for vengence for pking at lvs 90+. You'd need to lv your prayer to either 43, 44, 52, 60, 70+ keeping it at 40 is a waste.Overall I'd suggest you just start a low lv pure to pk with. : Hope that helped! :mrgreen: ~Armageddian

I'm assuming your F2P. -.- You should train mage as it will help you get around (i.e teleports) and it can always add that extra bit of damage if your rushing or something. Use the non-hp xp method to get more out of your mage. I'd get your range up aswell, as it only adds any stlye of combat you can fight with. pretty good pure. =D> 8/10

Hey guys, a while ago I decided to make a pure so I could actually stand a chance in pvp \ . Now I need some help. Combat Lv: 58 Whenever I go into pvp I never do too well. At this level G maul finishers seem to reign supreme. But there's also the range pures with 75+ range that give me trouble. :wall: I want to know if I'm doing anything wrong, and if/when 60 Atk pures become good for pking. Im also not sure about... ~Should get 31, 34, or 43 pray. ~Is Desert Treasure possible without prayer? :wall: ~Good place to get EP? ~Good spots to train range, str, etc. In the end i plan that his stats will be like this: 60 atk 70+ str 70+ range 70 mage 1 def prayer ??? #-o hp around 67 BTW he's done MM and lost city. Ya i was planning to get fury anyways by doing aviansies. I'm pretty sure i don't wanna dh... but i heard the zombies were good xp, but don't you have to have at least 80 def #-o ? and do you make cash from it?(just wondering) Most skills will bore me eventually :wall: but i don't care about that. I thought it would be kinda cool to have 99 range because irl I'm good at archery, but range is kind of underpowered from what i hear. I know skills are the secret to cash but im not raising these for cash, i want them for pvp and combat stuff (which i like). :D Another thing is should i raise summoning since I'm already 27? I know alot of people differ on this but not sure what the advantages/disadvantages would be. Ty for all the help! :mrgreen:

Hmm I think I'm going to train strength then, not sure about how im going to do it though... :ohnoes: -I could do experiments, i get about 50k xp there per hour. -I could do slayer, although not sure if that's good xp and don't you only make money at the higher lvs? -I could try bandits or wtv, but aren't experiments better xp? I'm not sure what else i could do... ideas? :wall: For experiments i would typically use this setup minus the dh legs( i would use rune so no degrade repair costs). Hey guys, I just started playing rs again :lol: and im back on the tipit forums, i doubt anyone remembers me. Anyways... I don't really know what i should go for with my combat stats. i was thinking of getting around 80 range (90 or 99 if I have the patience) but now I'm second guessing that. I've always been more of a melee-er but as you can see in sig my stats are nowhere near a pure... I'm quite balanced out. So now i have a couple of options: 1: Raise range to around 80 and beyond #-o 2: raise strength to 80 and beyond :ohnoes: 3: try and raise mage a bit ( don't really wanna do this one) #-o 4: Do nothing and fail at pvp and stuff. :wall: For 80 range i would be using bronze knives+ void. For melee i have whip, SS, etc. For mage i would probably alch. I guess I just wanna know what pays off the most and what would make me a decent pker. :roll: Meh. Ty in advanced! :D

Ok, I got 50 prayer : and im slowy raising my range when i can. I still cant decide what ammo to use :wall: .Is it possible to use some kind of bolt type for the low lvs like addy, then switch to diamond when you hit the high lvs? :?

Sorry about sig, my range is actually 70 : . I checked and i found out that diamond bolts (e) are around 900k for 1.5k. 4 k bolt racks is around 600k so they are cheaper + i don't have enough cash for a zammy book, would guthix work? I cant wear a god stole,isnt 60 pray to wear it? :? im still checking about purple sweets.

Hi everyone, I recently started playing rs again and was looking at what I could do.the fight caves came up and I decided I wanted to try it :mrgreen: . so i followed various guides and now im building my invy and my gear.Heres a pic of what i have so far: What i'd like to know is: 1. what should i do with the empty space in my invy since im using karils? 2.
