I think it's more of the fact that it was done behind our backs, and that we were put in the same post an the words 'Not "worthy"'. Postcount is one of the ways we advertise the Tavern. Someone looks on the list of today's top posters, clicks on nex/mather/archi/whoever. They look at their profile, and see that they are talking about this thing called hegemony, and think it sounds cool. So they read the thread, and bam, new member.

And, it is nice that you didn't bother to mention this to us, instead letting us have the adventure of figuring it out for our selves. And don't tell me you cant change those stickies, someone had to put in the line about Falador Tavern.

And the falador library? My god, they write full books each post there. Need to refresh more often. I fail to see how we are like forum games. I think of forum games as a place people go and have fun in while they wait for a response to a topic. While it has some hardcore members, the majority just drop in. The majority of us in Tavern spend most of, if not all of our time here. The main feature of the forum to us is the Tavern. So when we do go out and post in the other boards, our time and posts here should be respected, and shown.

There is a skill for it, i just can't remember its name.

The rationale given for some forums not having post counts is that they often contain short posts that have no discussion value. You can hardly say that about the Tavern.

Not necessarily. Post count is disabled in several forums (two examples being Forum Games and Rate This). We disabled post count here because we decided that the forum is more similar to Forum Games than a forum like General Discussions or Off-Topic. Or, if you want a better example of why it was disabled, read some of the above posts ;) I just dont see how our off topic stuff is any different than the off topic stuff in off topic.

OK, here is an on-topic post. Why did you guys(girls) take away post counts for this forum. Aren't post counts supposed to be representative of how active someone is?

I don't think they like us. They already took away our postcount rights. @Sere - That's why I want to mod the next modern day hegemony. This one was too gamey, it didn't feel like I was really leading a country.

Doom, there were people living in Japan, even when you controlled it. Im sure at least one person would have seen them, and reported it. It's incredibly unlikely that it would go unnoticed for 30 years.

Lol yes, because farm hands with crappy weapons are the best counter to a professional fighting force numbering in the millions.
