People downtown today did the whole Occupy Wall Street thing. There were like 300 people I guess. Pretty neat.

I guess this metal thread is as good of a place to post this as anywhere else. Anyone want to recommend me some hardcore punk bands they like? I've been getting into the genre a lot lately and I'd be interested to see if any of you guys have any favorites. I like hardcore to have at least a little bit of a melody to it, but I still like it loud and not overly sing-songy.

On my first listen through I thought it was a bit boring. Still good, but not as interesting as Cross. I'll definitely listen to it more though. Cross is one of my favorite albums ever though, so I think it'll be hard to top. that looks like the most fun show... ever.

oh i also used to get dreams about going to school and realizing i forgot to put on my pants. those were unpleasant but kind of funny.
