-.- He's looking for merchanting advice, not people telling him to go skill and ditch merchanting... You can merchant: Herbs, cheap rares(easters, pumpkins), combat supplies(whips, barrow sets, dark bows, etc), TT items(not too sure how effective this is), ores, bars, etc. Take a look at the good merchanting guides on these forums for good information. K the 1st poster, the only skill I actualy care about is range and I want to raise it as fast as I can. To get 99 range I want to use the fastest way there which is red chins on ape atoll but which will cost me about 40m in money. I don't care about other skills and therefore don't care how they can help me in the long run. Merchanting will always be more profitable than any skill level 99. You can try to argue that you can make 1.2m an hour from rcing nature, and my argument will be I can make the same amount if not more from merchanting in that time. As for the smaller rares - Easter and Pumpkins as well as Disks of Return are very hard to sell items as no one particularly wants these rares as you can't wear them. For the bigger rares like Santas it's true I can buy and sell one and make an easy 200k-300k profit, however with my current money supply I would only be able to buy and sell one at a time. Something which is very hard to do when you have competition selling and buying too (in which case its sometimes necesary to buy out your competition to get a monopoly). Dark Bows are hard to sell in my expiriences as well, however I might give them another shot if you say so. Maybe whips seeing as I could buy about 20 of them and its always nice to have stuff in bulk. Not sure what the prince influxes are though so I'll have to check it out first. Barrow Sets are a waste of time in my opinion however I have seen people be very succesful in the past with them. In truth there's not so much demand for them with better and better (and sometimes cheaper) stuff being released all the time. I haven't tried bars or ores since f2p so I might have to check that out. MAX 30m for 99 ranged :wink: .

Thats cause you are not dedicating to getting it. I could earn a whip a single night if I wanted too. But I don't.... Lol. I could get 3 if they are 1,5 right? on a day if i only concentrate on getting money. If you try you make the money back.. What do you do to make money? Are they that cheap now? Wow. I ranger and have not tried gettin' 70 atk so I never follow whip price. I though they were 2.2 Aviansies, as I'm a ranged you can make money there too! :P just watch jordanwebs guide about them. :wink:

Looking at your ranged level It's ineffective even if you range pot. I suggest +90 with ranged potions for it to be effacient. Tip : Always use ranged potions at blue dragons, using 2 doses per run is 2k and it speed it up with alot.

Actually, he didn't directly ask how to get the money back but if he wants to know. Play runescape cost effectively. It's not hard to think of ways to make money. Get 70 fletching buy yew logs flax and nats, craft the flax for crafting levels, fletch for fletching xp and alc for mage xp, and for a little bit of profit, not suggested by me because it's not very fast. As fast way is to get a kingdom running on 100% coal and rest on trees. Coal is about 96gp so it's very cheap. Buy iron and smith and smelt cannon balls for a quite a bit of profit while getting smithing xp. But common, can't you just work something out yourself. It's not hard, you just have to think abit, something which people nowadays don't do much of. Lol. I guess you are right. He did not ask for how to get his whip back. Just asked what he should do now that he lost it. Good exp gaining tips but kinda harsh at the end. Personal issue? :anxious: If he asked "what to do now" he probably refer on making mony for a new whip -.-
