Whilst you don't recieve the full bonus, you still get a 1.1x multiplier (read: 10% bonus xp). It might not seem like a lot, but over say, 3m xp, it's huge. Just sayin'That's where the extras that I mentioned in my post (and others have remarked on, such as saving for a bonus xp weekend if you are willing to wait that long) come in super helpful (=Short answer: It should be. Tasks can have a negative influence on this though (eg Vyrewatch which dont drop charms) Long answer: I logged slayer tasks for ~3.5m slay xp, and charms up until 99 summoning. Not using a slay efficient task list, just the typical stuff, I picked up:- - 320 Blues - 2020 Crims - 2324 Gold - 744 Greens Now, there were many more gold and green charms I neglected that will skew the answer slightly. For my level (which was lower than yours at the time), that was an approximate gain of 1424k Summoning XP to 1510k slay xp (both rounded). It should be noted, this is purely my experience based on what I logged. I stopped picking up charms after 99, but continued to log slayer tasks, so as it progress it may have moved more in favour of summoning Factors that affect this further (and things you should take into consideration making use of):- - Daily bork kills. The 5 Blue, 7 Crim and 3 greens (5/10/5 if you have RoW on from memory). This stacks up very, very quickly. This, of course, doubles with Varry Elite completion. - Triple Charms: If you can find the familiarisation DnD during the week (read: weekly), do it. 40 minutes of Triple Charms at WFS for instance with extremes and turm can yield up to 300 charms if you're lucky (I was regularly getting 210 with piety, but have seen friends go up to the high 290s with full strength gear and all the trimmings). As for pengs/joat:- Personally, I use the bonuses on skills I dont like training, or that are slow comparitively to train. IE Runecraft and Agile, because I found it easy to make the cash (or just farm) herbs for herblore than I do to train those skills.~2.3m dg xp today. Tsup T9->T10 upgrade in a day. Now ~10m to 113. Played anti-crasher today at bandos. Friend lent me bcp/bt/claws so I could rush over. AC unit with another 138, ended up 2 teams and other AC guy by myself (Turm + Overload + 2 destroyer claw specs + Steel titan = hnnnnnnnnnnnng). Love. ~1.1m to 111 dg. Hoping I can get it tomorrow, but with c2s, 3 occs (read: flesh) and 3 abd2s to do, I doubt it'll happen.ILYWhether or not they are worth it, I can't give a solid answer on. Your best bet (and from memory, the only real option) is to mage them. Best spells of course being Arma Storm (but rediculously expensive) or polypore staff (cheap per cast, not great for mage xp but high hitting). As a result you want to be using mage boosting equipment - Virtus > Ahrims > Mystic with void mage in there somewhere - Arcane Stream neck if you have it - Barrows gloves if you have All there will b e helpful. As for a full setup I'll leave that to the pros (inb4Q). If you are looking for slayer xp they are decent (184.5xp/kill, so for a task of 200, 36900xp) with mage xp to boot. Of course, there is an efficiency side of this which I can't go into because I don't know the whole deal. The question is Are you more concerned with xp, or with profitability?Short answer: piety The long answer involves a long winded skills breakdown etc#14Giant mole is good for cash (well, for birds nests taht translate into cash) but has a fairly slow spawn. For a low risk 'boss" this might be useful to test (although it isnt going be nearly as profitable as other things, you can make 30-40k/kill) out. I'd recommend taking a Terrorbird to attack AND track the mole (when it digs) as well as energy pots.It would give an insight as to what happened, and whether what Ambler suggested is what happens.
