Never go to achievement servers ever. They're as cheap as it gets.

That surprises me because usually when new people play it doesn't matter what the new weapon then get, they always use it. My personal weapon cycle: Strive for new weapon < Use it a few times < Switch back to old weapon. I think the only unlockables I'm currently using are the Sandvich, the Razorback, and the Cloak n' Dagger. Edit: And Ubersaw. Caus' it r leet.

No it isn't, but I'm afraid my conservative dad will walk in and be like "omfg!111 sex referncs and bad langs!1111!! no moar playin!" Oh, I see what you mean. This is why there should be an option to show or not show modded servers in the server browser, eh? Because of my inexperience with PC online games, do you mean there are servers without the stab up the [wagon] thing? Well the stab up the [wagon] thing is a mod, there are tons of servers that don't have it. While some servers do have things like it, most servers are normal, and most that DO have mods are not so obscene, like party hats and stuff.

That's because W+M1 only gets you killed. It really only works if your opponent is either stupid or new. Isn't the whole point of W+M1 to go on a suicide run and do as much damage as possible anyway? Btw, how is the vid coming?

Try the other classes besides pyro? Yeah dizzle you should try scouting. Actually my favorite class is spy (favorite, not best), but I'm going for the 1M points of fire damage achievement so I'm just playing pyro for a while.

So I just went onto a 2fort server to try and get Plan B. I hung out under the bridge. By the end of the game, I had gotten 23 kills, only 10 deaths, 2 destructions, 5 assists, and a cap, as well as the achievement. All done with the shotgun only. Weird thing is, I actually do better with shotty than I do with W+M1 flamethrowing :?

I've never really been a fan of the 007 movies, but over the ladt few days I've watched parts of Tomorrow Never Dies, Octopussy, and You Only Live Twice. But the series has been going for like 40 years, and with that, the character has been portrayed by a number of different actors. Bond was played in the two most recent films, Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace, by Danial Craig. Now Daniel Craig is a good actor, but my major issue with him is that he's blonde. You see, I've always seen Bond as having black hair, like Pierce Brosnan and Sean Connery, but looks aside, performance differs between actors as well. Because of this, the character of James Bond doesn't have just one set look or personality. So which one is your Bond? Brosnan, Connery, Craig, which do you think is the best?

That was really fun! I was good in the first time when we played steel, where we defended B. Then I sucked up until ctf_turbine, where I got 21 points in a life as pyro. 14 kills, 1 assist, 5 defenses, 2 dominations, 1 capture.

Alright, I need to ask it. Why is it that kid=idiot? It annoys the hell out of me. Sure it does happen sometimes, but thats more of an console thing. Alot of the real idiots are the people that realize it's not a run'n'gun fps and quit early on. if a kid is mature enough, you wouldnt be able to tell he was a kid would you? Somebody comes on to the server to play, you dont know how old they are, its only when they start making an idiot of themselves you can work it out. Mainly people get flamed off of servers for their voice, what they're using that voice to say is rarely an issue for some people.

Yeah, I agree. If your play style sucks, use the backburner. Now you're just being an [wagon], it's a legitimate weapon with a legitimate purpose. Though I think the flamethrower is useful in more situations, completely cutting out the backburner would make cart ambushing much harder. It's stupid to say that the backburner is completely useless, though there are only a few situations where you should switch to it. I think that the only reason I use the flamethrower myself is because it's fun to completely ruin enemy medics ubers :lol:

Well that depends. If you play on consoles, then stay far away. The console community is actually alright, but the game itself is just awful on there. If you're getting on PC, the community is usually pretty good, and it's fully worth the money. From what I've seen, the 12 year olds are better than some of the older guys :lol: Some people rage ALOT over the mic. Afterthought: Am I the only one that actually prefers the Scattergun to the Force-A-Nature?

For christs sake, do I really have to say it again? IT DEPENDS ON THE TYPE OF THING YOU'LL BE DOING. If you're going to the frontlines, use the flamethrower. If you're going to be defending a sentry, use flamethrower (push back ubers). If you're planning on a defensive offense, aka ambush little kart, then use the backburner. This could be prevented if they would have someone face backwards, but most of the time they dont. Even if someone does face back, you can usually just W+M1 them, whilie getting supercrits on the rest. Yeah I remember you saying this before. I was bored so I made a bet with knex that I could make you rage. Well if you're coming to tf2 night you can use the backburner and see how many times you get me. I didn't ever say I used the Backburner. I mainly play offense on 2fort with the Pyro, and the flamethrower is a must if they have soldiers. And this is one of the main things about TF2. Not just for pyro, you can try and say one weapon if better than another for ANY class, but it all comes down to your playstyle.

And then I come behind you as scout and destroy you :P Well yes, but thats how everything in this game ends. As was said, the pyro is awesome if you learn the tactics (yes, pyro has tactics), and it is possible to suck as the pyro.

Rocco, whats wrong with using Rockband mic? From what I've recorded it actually sounds really clear, and when I use it people always understand what I'm saying. It's far better than text chat.

Memes are awesome, just as long as they're not forced. Going onto 4chan and posting some random phrase off the top of your head over and over again is just stupid. Memes are funnier when they form naturally.

Not another console fight. This is probably the most balanced generation yet. This is the first one where it's really ALL about personal preferrence.

Generally if they put a lot of stuff in that tunnel you just send an uber demo to clear it out... Almost, but they had 2 pyros in there using compression blasts, and with the tunnel you had to go through to get there, the only way to survive through it was to deploy an uber right then. About half of the uber would be gone by the time you got there, followed by delays from the compression blasts. We tried it a few times, but it seems jaerk was right about those compression blasts.
