  1. Can't wait till they continue the season in a few months.
  2. I use a Rockband mic  How do you get hats? Are they random drops, or from achievements or what? I've found plenty of weapons but no hats.
  3. LOL if you thought he was really answering your question with the last one, if you didn't make up that conversation completely.
  4. Sarah Palin will probably win the election then. No. I highly doubt that. Her party threw her under the bus after the elections and nobody wants to see a quitter running our country. I just remembered the whole rant John Stuart had about that

    1. I meant mainly in gangs that wear a certain set of colors. Lets say theres a gang that wears blue. The police spot a large group of people, ALL wearing blue. I believe that would warrant at least further investigation. 2. I see, so find out where they are, and set up a capture operation, possibly bagging some of his buddies as well. Then if he tries to hurt officers, take him down. If this is what you mean, then I agree with you on point 2. I'll be back on tomorrow, g'night.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to bash the American legal system, I just think that it's a little light on some issues. As for gang members, I'm not saying they should all be killed, bu basically this is what I was thinking. If they are known to be members of a violent and/or criminal gang, arrested on sight. NOOOO. Innocent until proven guilty. If anything, accept that as the one "rule" a democratic legal system MUST have. If you have PROOF that this particular person robbed or whatever, go get 'im. But not until then. If they attempt to resist arrest, shot. Only if they resist with violence. Don't shoot them if they just try to run for it, there are other methods of stopping them. After arrest, if they wish to attempt to reform, they will be given the opportunity. Yes. I see you made a thread, I'm going to go post on that, seems to be in response to what was said here. Let the negotiations BEGIN! *trumpets* We seem to already agree on point 3, so lets just talk about 1 and 2. 1. It's more fair with innocent until proven guilty, but let's face it, look at a gang like the Bulldogs. Most are willing to kill to maintain their own freedom, and all are criminals. The police on the street know who they are, they're proud of themselves. They get away with murders and assaults all the time, but because proof was needed, they got away with it for years. There has been a police crackdown on them for the last few years, which has helped, but they're still not being apprehended on sight and so they still thrive. 2. I can somewhat agree here, but since most police forces don't have a helicopter to keep track of the situation from above, chasing them down can be difficult and dangerous. Perhaps have officers in gang infested areas carry tasers, or one of the several other ways to stop them dead in their tracks without causing serious harm?

What is with you and defending the legal system tonight? :? With the way our government works, there ARE things you can do about it. Obviously we're not going to have mass extermination, at least I hope it never gets to that point, but compare the current legal system to how it started. Most changes are made by specific case. Now I'm getting off-topic though.

No, just because they commit a lot of crimes is why they are wrong. A gang is a group of people. "Hey guys, do you wan-" *gunshot* (You were killed for being in a gang.) You know and everyone else knows what someone means when they talk about a gang. You said "gang". All that is is a group of people. If you really wanted to rant about something, you would have been more specific (i.e. random drive-by shootings). You weren't thinking when you were typing the op and your true personality came through. You hate them because they're different. period. Like the above poster said, you're being way too technical. Everyone knows what you I meant, and so do you. You say I hate them for being different, but I've said nothing to suggest that. You don't even say what you mean by different. Do you mean minorities? Don't believe I ever mentioned that. Educational status? Never mentioned that either. They commit crimes, and they do it frequently. And by the way, I never said "if you're in a gang, you die." I said that would be if they attempt to resist.

You are forgiven due to the epicness of your avatar. I'm not saying they're wrong because they're different, I'm saying they're wrong because they're goddam criminals. I'm talking about real gangs here, not aggressive sewing circles and treehouse clubs.

We've gotten far off track, we're not saying that the Code of Hammurabi should be brought back exactly as it was, just that it should fair. Kill someone, be executed in the same way. Steal from someone, lose some physical possessions. That stuff. Obviously things like the architect example are not crimes, just accidents.

Ah, for the smaller groups, but what about bigger, more aggressive gangs? They're all criminals in those. Here in America we have this thing called the justice system. In the justice system you are innocent until proven guilty. Sounds like you've been wronged by a gang at some point... Thousands of people have. That's why gangs need to be, for lack of a better word, exterminated. In this hypothetical law, it would be understood that by joining a gang, you are showing intent to commit crimes. The only trouble is, as was mentioned, what constitutes a gang.

Ah, gangs. An incredibly frustrating problem, at least in America and probably in other countries. I come from a town that was infested with the scum, and moved because of it. This thread isn't asking what you think of gangs because I know the answer will be almost universally against them, but rather, how do you think they should be dealt with? Of course, if you do have a pro-gang opinion in one form or another, it would be interesting to hear that as well. It's frustrating for me because in our legal system, being in a gang does not warrant an arrest, you need to commit a crime first. I think that being in a gang in the first place should be a crime. Many times the police know who they are when they see them on the streets, but until they have evidence, the individual gang member cannot be arrested. Personally my method would be this: If we know you are in a gang, you will be arrested on sight. If a confirmed gang member resists arrest, they would be shot dead on the spot. Of course, this is very extreme and it would never work in a modern developed nation, but to the point of the thread, what is your opinion on gangs and how should they be dealt with?

That wouldnt nearly do justice. My personal sentence: Tortured in the same ways, but kept alive as long as possible.
  19. Bungie and Microsoft are no more...Bungie is independent now. Its been like this sense the like..first odd some month after Halo 3 was launched. They still develop for MS, which means they're still in MS's pocket.
  20. Just before the end, I'd kill all the people I hate. "Mercy killings", you know? 8-)
  21. Valve, Infinity Ward, and Volition for Red Faction and Saints Row.

I like it, but it seems like what every critic has said: It's 5 seperate games, and none of them complete.
  23. I have to agree with that, making them required was a stupid move. Map pack priority would work much better.
