  1. This will be the last time I ever start up the Bioshock argument, I promise  I agree that BioShock is alot like System Shock 2 in just about every way, but personally I prefer Bioshock just on a few key things. I prefer BioShocks unda da sea setting, and while they're very much alike, I felt more involved with BioShock's storyline. The thing I didn't like was the combat. Theres plenty of creative things that you can do, but most of the time you don't need to do anything other than empty a few rounds into an enemy. Big Daddy's are much less difficult than advertised, and the final boss fight was piss easy. I also don't like the idea of the cryo-tubes, they come every 2 feet and turn death into nothing more than a minor annoyance. tl;dr I like Bioshock better, but it's too easy and System Shock 2 is a better challenge.
  2. Yeah I can't disagree with that, it's definatly greedy. You're idea is definatly the way to go, and honestly should just be common sence. The way they do it is just stupid, I definatly can't defend bungie when it comes to greediness. Bungie is not greedy, they had nothing to do with the price. Most of what they do, they do because MS told them to. Halo 2 was basicly a beta. Bungie wanted another year or so to work on it, but MS told them to release what they had. They were required to make atleast some of the map packs, and if it were up to Bungie they wouldn't be priced at $10 a pop most likely.
  3. Yes and no .. I agree that it is Overrated NOW .. but for its era it wasn't. It has never at any point been overrated, it's AMAZING. Levels are varied, killing things is satisfying, and theres so many ways to do it! Not to mention probably one of the best storylines ever seen in a video game, if not THE best. Especially since Episode 2 when I realized the small little details they put in. For example, when I arrived at White Forest Outpost, I noticed 2 resistance fighters walking out of the base, and followed them. They went through some trees and ended up at a cliff overlooking the entire forest, it was an awesome view. They sat down with their legs hanging over the edge, when one said "You smell that? It's the smell of freedom. It's so close." Theres tons of things like that. In the underground level theres even a referrence to George W. Bush
  4. Use a grenade, bullets don't seem to do the job with him.
  5. If you shoot people with them they'll die.
  6. I watched the whole video. That kid is a Fred wanna-be. So this kid is a Fred wannabe, and Fred is a talent wannabe.
  7. Frankly I hope he does. Not being able to distinguish right from wrong is an issue with him, not the game, and it has nothing to do with his age.
  8. Not to be an [wagon]...but did you really just ask why god would be "protected" in America? Yes, I did. You can have characters shout "Jesus Christ!" and other stuff like that that would be considered "blasphemous", but you can't say that one thing in particular?
  9. Your right. Sorry about that. Instead I have decided to change the discussion to BioShock 2. Ah, makes much more sense now :P
  10. Great game, but it's like 2 years old and I don't really know what you want us to discuss. First level is scary, the rest are creative and fun, the story is Jesus. Is this supposed to be a discussion thread at all? Seems you just copypasta'd a guide off the internet. See me after class.
  11. For some reason in America you can say "God damnit", but the "God" part is censored.
  12. It's called "wasted ammo". :D With the abundance of supplies around the map, pyros never seem to run out of ammo. When I play pyro, I notice that I can go on forever without having to go to base for ammo because of all the dropped weapons and supply boxes you're constantly tripping over.
  13. Way to make an original content thread on a leash.
  14. There's ALWAYS some pyro.
  15. They really need to have a consequence for pyros spychecking their entire team. I'm so tired of spychecking being something any pyro can afford to do to everyone and everywhere. I'm not saying they shouldn't be effective spycheckers, just that there should be some consequence, so that you only do it when you're suspicious.
  16. There will be so many people complaining when this comes out.

If you opt for the evil villain accent, make sure you also grow a long thin mustache that you can twirl when you talk.
  18. Huh. I might try that. Just make sure you put only a thin sheet over the fan, or it might overheat.
  19. I keep the fan on too, for the noise, but in the Summer I also do something else with it. I sleep with my thick quilt up to my neck, and a thin sheet goes over me head, with the fan on a table next to my head. When I turn the fan on, the sheet fills with air that leaves my body nice and cozy under the quilt, with my head literally inside a bubble of cold.
  20. That report was too harsh towards Valve. They don't WANT to charge for it, but it's not up to them, it's up to Microsoft. Didn't Valve already have a BIG clash with M$ over making the Survival Pack free?
  21. You should really stop trolling, you suck at it.... OT: I was going to wait until COD6 (i got 4 and love it) but is this worth getting too? The multiplayer is broken to hell, but the single player is pretty fun. Single player can be completed quickly though. Wait until CoD6.
  22. LOL. That was my reaction, yes.
  23. People who think they're good with computers because they play alot of games  They give themselves way too much credit. Once while I was hanging out with them this is what happened. Friend 1 doesn't like the controls on a game, so he goes into options and changes it from arrow keys to WASD controls. Friend 2 enters the room. Friend 2: How did you get the controls like that? Friend 1: I hacked the game to change it. :wall:  -.-
  24. Well the famous pic is of two spiders, but even just one IS gigantic, those things are scary
  25. Video games arent that fun. Yeah. Srs business, video games.
