Uhhhh, tis is quite a noob question - but whats this grand exchange going on around here?

OK iam currently doing the tourist trap quest and here are the directions on tip it itself Go to Shantay Pass and talk to Shantay. Buy all of the things listed above if you do not already have them. Shantay does sell bronze, however their stock is default to 0, so you will have to smelt your own unless you are very lucky. Go through the doorway and talk to Irena who will tell you about her daughter. Walk directly south until you find a mining site. 1. Watch the Mercenary Captain (he is easy to spot as he is the only one wearing a grey cape) and get the message that he likes to have his men do his dirty work for him. 2. Talk to the captain, say "hello" then insult him, THEN threaten to punch him. 3. The guards will whisper a message to you and pretend to fight you. If you continue, they will haul you away into the desert and take away your waterskins! 4. Talk to a guard and ask him about the captain. Keep asking about the captain and he'll mention that if anyone challenges the captain to a one-on-one duel all the guards have agreed not to interfere. Make a bet with the guards that you'll win. 5. Talk to the captain again, but this time, offer to do something for him. He will send you to bring the head of a bandit lord. Don't go to the bandit camp in the desert, instead go to the nomad camp due west (and a bit north of the bandit camp). Talk to the leader of the bandits (inside the big tent holding a staff) and tell him your job of killing the bandit chief. He will tell you the bandit does not exist and send you back to the captain with some choice words. 6. Talk to the captain again and this time the option to insult him for not knowing the bandit was a fraud comes up. He will challenge you to a duel in response. 7. Fight the captain. 8. Collect your bet (if any) from the guards before entering. The problem is I dont know what to say to the captain, Ive talked to him and the guard has whispered the message to me and pretended to fight me but i get stuck on step 4. How do I talk to a guard they're all inside the gate... please help

By far the easiest and fastest is to smelt silver in to holy or unholy what ever you like, it wont take very. Only downside is that you have to obtain silver bars first !

Is farming boring and "useless", does it take extremely long to level up? Do you need many tools and other equipment just to get to a very low level and whats its "uses" ? And whats the easiest way to get from level 1 to 50?

it was kind of a spur of a moment thing, this guy had quite good stuff on and he was fairly low compared to me level. Keep in mind this was level 12 wild near edgeville. So i thoug i could risk it, - it turned out wrong

I recently went to the wildy I recently went into the wildy for a regular Pk'ing trip. I have done PKs on many occasions but this time in my inventory i had a dragon scimmy, dragon mace, ddp++ along with 300 laws and 2k deaths. I also had 280 noted sharks 3 sets of super. I was skulled and I was fighting this level 85 pure. I stepped out for about 30 seconds to get a drink and next thing I know - I have none of my items and I lost most of my good stuff.

Im really interested in becoming a memeber, but i fear that i will be swamped with all the extra stuff. I also fear that my skill (if i become a memeber now) wont be sufficent in the member worlds.
