As you may or may not know, I am a member of threadless, and I just put up my second shirt for voting. Another sorta creepy-like design. On a shirt, and with another background, it would look like this: Its supposed to be some demon thingie, who wants to be a clown. Kind of an odd occupation, dont you think? (You might just recognise the demon, the base for this one was submitted a long while ago to the runescape player gallery, I reworked it, and made this out of it) Now, as I mentioned, this is submitted to Threadless. Their system works as following: You put a design on there for critique, get comments, and if you think it is good enough, you can submit it to the regular competition, where everyone with an account can vote for it. The top something-hundred get picked every week, and are judged by a team of judges. They pick the best few, and these get a grand prize of 2000 dollars + a 500 dollar gift certificate (Or an additional 200 dollars in cash instead of this certificate). These judges look at the highest scores ofcourse, but also at the comments, and at the times the box "I'd buy this" has been checked. So here's the idea: In order to help me win this, you can create an account on threadless.com. You go to this link: http://www.threadless.com/submission/14 ... occupation And score whatever you want to score me (Although 4's and 5's are more than welcome ;) ) and perhaps check the box "I'd buy this". On the fountain. The cat in the background is watching them. The second scene is the answer to the title of this shirt, What happened to the birds? They got eaten by the cat, which is shown by the big cat mouth which surrounds the whole design. The third one being the dead birds, from which only a few feathers are left. Dave Grohl this time. Result of a tutorial I made. Someone at a local forum asked me for a tutorial on the style of my current sig. So I made a tutorial. It's in Dutch, but I could translate it and post here if you guys would like that.

Made myself a new siggie. Illustrator + some touching up in Photoshop. Bit lower quality, because the 30kb limit here still stinks xD It's Jimi Hendrix if you hadn't noticed.

Any size, sure, but it's still a SIG of the week contest right..? I guess with the 'any size' he ment any acceptable sig size, around the normal size somewhere. Just so people wouldn't have to stick to like 300x120 , a little freedom. I really don't think your entry should count as a sig xD

Some trippy sigs I did the last few days. It's quite simple, took some sigs (Got permission from the ones that belonged to someone), and went mad on them xD Illustrator and psp7(Yes I still use that xD). Original: Trip: Original: The idea was to give it some sort of atlantis-underwater old circus kinda feeling. Original: Trip: And another one Some more. And then the dinosaurs died because of the triangles. You don't have to like em, I can imagine this is a bit odd to get used to.. Just random things coming out of my head.

That's not something thats wrong, it's just how this business card works :P You have to flip it over to read the backside. When you have this in your hand, it's just a natural reaction to flip it over from tip to bottom, not from left to right. You'd have to see it in a real situation. But thanks for noticing :P

Eindhoven. Ict Media Design is what it's called. And yeah, the M is rather hard to see, but as I mentioned, it is not supposed to be recognisable as SM.

Well, I got this school assignment for Design, which was to create a full corporate design package for one of the 3 specified companies. I chose Stedelijk Museum Nieuwe Kunst (City Museum for New Art, something like that). We started out with a lot of sketching, a bit too much of you ask me, but meh. The teacherdude picked out this logo, to work on. Only the SM part of it, he suggested I dropped the nk part of this one. And so I started refining that logo. Experimented with the shape, style, negative space, as you can see here: Eventually, I inverted the shape of the SM, so instead of SM in colour the stuff around it was coloured. I went on refining the new shape I had, into something a bit more abstract. Eventually, this lead to the following logo: If you know the process, you could see the S and M in there, but that's not really the point. This abstract shape fit's the whole minimalism thing going on with alot of new art. My teached also mentioned it had some 3d-hints in it. I never intended to do that, but okay, whatever scores me more points xD The left part is like flat on the ground, while the right part is elavated a bit. Soooo, that's the logo and the story behind it. I took this logo, converted it to outlines, and went from there to create some extra thingies to use on the rest of the design elements. I discussed this with a mod, this mod discussed it with the other mods and they said it was fine as long as I also posted the art here to critique.
