You have everything correct, just use the helmet on tasks with low defense, ex: fire giants, bloodvelds, abbarent spectres, dust devils, ect, ect. On a final note, if you want the tasks to go by faster, use void, if you want more exp, use the helmet.

15% damage/accuracy bonus + loss of a helmet/body/legs/gloves is better then getting 200% exp? to the OP: Sacred clay helmet + black d hide body/legs is better as you gain double the exp. HOWEVER, it only lasts for 60k exp gained, or 30k exp worth of damage being done. So they don't last very long, but its 200%. Void is VERY useful though, as it actually gives a bonus of damage/accuracy, not exp gained. I would get void, if you don't already have it, but use the SC helmet for training on anything with low defense.

Range tanks at a low level are VERY bad, when you hit 80+ defense, 90+ range, and 52 prayer, then they become worth while. train up your defense/range/prayer before you even think about pking.

Zamorakian spear allows you to use the special 4 times, its a 25% special bar drain. Dragon spear drains 100%. Zamorakian spear also has the best stab attack in the game for a non degradable weapon. This is why it is used at Corp, weapons aren't always about the special attack.

You're 76 defense, you most likely get hit WAY to much for the SGS to be of any use in the first place >.<

Only if it hits. Not if it hits a 0. It randomly heals 10 hitpoints and 5 prayer points on 0 specs every now and then, not sure why.

660k to 99 def as I type this, I'll start hunting for the Imp scroll after that. Can you confirm that Imp Champion Scrolls are dropped by the Imp's in GWD?

proof? There have been MANY people who are enlightened to the fact that ROW simply doesn't do what everyone thinks it does. My proof is JaGex. simple explination: There are two wheels for monster drops. the first wheel is spun, whatever it lands on chooses WHAT CATEGORY OF A DROP YOU WILL RECEIVE! ex: rare, common, uncommon. wheel #2 decides WHAT DROP YOU GET FROM THAT CATEGORY! ROW only increases the chance of better rare items on the SECOND wheel. So unless you get lucky in the first place ROW really doesn't do anything. Also a whip is 'uncommon', ROW has NO/ZERO/0/NONE/ZILCH effect on whips. I thought you knew what you were talking about at first... You are on the right track. There is no uncommon category. It's called... you guessed it, rare. Sorry, there is uncommon.

While I whole-heartedly agree that would be the best option, the OP stated that he wears the ring of wealth regardless of any of other reason. For lack of a better word/reason, he does it superstitiously. It'd be like wearing a wealth when killing men, it has NO effect. Despite what he might like to use, it's inevitable that wealth is useless and that even a ROL would be a better choice...

Fact: Ring of wealth doesn't increase the chance of getting a whip, a whip is not a 'rare' drop. Use a Zerker ring, despite what all calculators say, helm of neitiznot DOES increase the max hit.

Using a whip, training defense, with my stats (99 attack 95 strength), should I use a defender or my DFS?

zombie monkies are at most 80k exp/hour, and they are not that afk'able since your using prayer pots. When I mentioned 5.5m + SS I meant more towards armor. I will however try them, in a few minutes, until I have a better option. Also, do you use piety?

I'm looking for a semi afk'able spot to train def, I have bandos tassets and chestplate along with a dfs. I have all the works, and 5.5m cash, and if need be I can sell my SS for the time being. I want to be able to gain 60k defense exp or more per hour, I will be using super sets. I like to look at the forums, watch TV and whatnot while I'm training, which is why I need a semi afk'able spot. All responses are greatly appreciated, thanks! : ~ Sumondskull6
