It's not like it would effect our quality of living or anything if China didn't import anything to us, but I'm sure stocks would go down to some extent. I mean, companies would be losing profits (profits that they surely do not *need*, mind you) because they'd have to hire more employee's at higher wages to make stuff here. That is, of course, assuming that it wouldn't be outsourced to some other 3rd world nation who whole-heartedly do not deserve our jobs and piss us off to no end because they somehow DO have them. I know that everytime I hear someone say some unintelligable gutter in an Indian accent over the phone in the customer service department, I want to slap the entire country. Dudes can barely speak english and they're trying to explain stuff to you? Pfft.

Why would they want to go to war with the US? We buy all their cheaply made goods. And if they stop? If the two start competing for scare resources or fuels like petrol and gas when they start to run out? Anyway as I said, just a feeling... We won't stop. We're such a capitalist country that we're running our own country into the ground by buying cheap stuff from China.

Yes, it's a desktop, and no, that doesn't seem like a viable fix... I really see no reason why this port should be blinking on and off saying it's been plugged in/unplugged when absolutely nothing is happening to it. It only does this when my computer is playing sounds, too. Windows sounds, music, whatever. Edit: And yes, I checked the drivers. No updates.

If you're only 13, why are you even acting as if you know anything? Anyone under 16 has no idea what they're even saying as a general rule, and most people under 18 still don't. Even then, many folks under 25 do not, and even worse yet, most people NEVER do. I'd sooner take advice from a blind man on how to properly cross the Interstate safely than I would listen to a 13 year old tell me what's what. It's clear what you're doing - you're trying to play mod. Lots of people do it, and everyone fails. To the OP: You really need to reconsider things here. You "feeling" a certain way doesn't mean you need to act upon it. The people who run those pro-trans-gender sites are absolutely not people you want to listen to on this matter. They are people that have forsaken advice of others and acted upon their mental disabilities. I don't mean to down you, but if you feel this way, something is going on with your brain that isn't right. Like I said, you're NOT a female trapped in a mans body. That's the chant that trans-gendered idiots chant to try to make people understand. That is not a diagnosis. Listen to your parents, seek medical help, and don't think about gender re-assignment or hormone therapy or something. It will NEVER make you the opposite sex. Ever. If you're a girl and you feel like a guy, in this day and age, there is no reason you cannot just simply ACT LIKE A GUY. Women can do anything men can in this society now.

So I got a new computer. It has Vista. I used my old computer's speakers on my new computer...Because I could. They work great. Except for one thing... Whenever I play music/watch a video on youtube or do anything else that involves sound that ISN'T playing a video game, I get a pop-up bubble in the corner that says "A jack has been plugged in" and then it switches to "A jack has been unplugged" back and forth endlessly. When I clicked the Realtek Audio Manager to see what was up, one of the jacks, which nothing has ever been up into or taken out of, has been flashing, causing the little alerts. I have tried everything to get it to stop. I have even system restored (resulting in me having to re-dl WoW again...) to no avail. The funny thing is, it just started doing this today...It hasn't been doing it for the last week. It doesn't really effect anything, it's just annoying and pissing me off to no end. Dunno' how to explain it any better, and I'm highly doubting a picture is going to help at all...I'd really like to know how to make the bubble alerts stop at least, because thats the only annoying thing. They're popping up completely randomly...Sometimes every 3-5 seconds, sometimes ever 30. It's infuriating. So, if anyone knows whats up, or if anyone just knows how to turn off those stupid bubble alerts (if you can), that'd be super...

The funniest thing about a "gay camp" is the sheer irony of it all. Yes, we're going to take 100 boys who think they're gay and stick them all in one place. Surely, by the end of the summer, they'd all end up on their knees, and it wouldn't be to pray... As for the OP, if you're sure about how you feel, then all I can say is have fun mutilating your body over the next couple decades to make yourself feel better about yourself. I really hope you're smarter than that, but most are not. There are two things you'll have to realize here to avoid that - 1) If you're religious, that God doesn't make mistakes. Ever. and 2) if you're not religious, that you have a mental disorder or some sort, you're not a "woman trapped in a mans body" or visa-versa.
